The thing is, people buy shares in stocks where they think its going to go up and not down in time duration of short, medium or long term..yes they all thought the same that it will 'motor' and not only that, they started counting how much theyll make and what theyll buy with the winnings etc....if they were all right, market makers would loose 5% and investors would win 95% of the time... hence why its opposite...market makers win 95% and leaving investors 5% chance of winning...winning isn't easy..some have gone in big thinking theyll miss the boat to be sat counting their loss...just like someone who bought at the peak of the price yesterday. Market makers immediately pull the price down...and at current price, they probz sitting at a loss of just under 2k in couple of hours...they join a queue of people like myself, and others here assuming they haven't sold at a loss imho
