I’d love for Iran to come good...not as much as I’d have loved for it come good back in 2017.

The problem is that if we spank a whole load of money setting up that business, issuing shares to do so,run it for a few years and then Trump gets back in....suddenly it’s not a missed opportunity, it’s a massive hit to our ongoing business.

If Iran had happened a year earlier, or Trump a year later, WSG would have been sunk.

MB: Iran hasn't been announced, as well you know, but Slip has a point. A lot of water has passed under a lot of bridges since the deal was "signed". not least their economy being taken to it's knees and WSG courting KSA. The Saudis and the Iranians aren't the best of pals.

MB: i'd argue that WSG is not a covid play (as the share price would agree). we'll do better post vaccine as our money mainly comes from Tema and Lungi...and hopefully some more ports of some sort in the next 12 months.
