You can use a process called dematerialisation to cash in your shares,Interactive Investor do this but only for UK share certificates.I appreciate that some members might already know this,but probably not everyone.

Yep,I’m happy to hold paper shares too.I only use Fidelity for income shares now,but do have one investment that may be moving or cross-trading on ASX soon.I shall have too transfer those out and into II,it’s hard to believe that Fidelity don’t offer much in the way of International shares,II on the other hand have been excellent so far,no complaints.

Thanks both for some answers,I hold my shares with II in a trading account also,I had read that you can’t hold OTC shares in a sipp or isa a while back.I also have an old isa with Fidelity and find it disappointing ar their lack of choices shares wise..

Just like ENSI,it seems both floated around 2-3 years too early.Im going to buy back in with ENSI as a foot in both camps of these twin companies (in the Arnie and Danny Devito sense) looks a good bet.

Maybe they are looking at floating on the US OTC market( aim equivalent)? EEE recently started cross-trading on there with a mc of around $70 million as I seem to remember.

If we closed at 21-22p I would still be delighted,it really looks like the days of sub 15p are well behind us.The last two weeks have been outstanding so far…onwards and upwards!

If it happens then you’d probably get around 2-3 months notice,I should imagine.I hold a couple of S/S Isas and a sipp.My first ISA was with Fidelity,but me being a bit wet around the ears when it came too investing back then,I sort of took for granted that they let you invest world-wide….they really don’t! Anyway,I’ve had an account with II for a good while,which hold the majority of my EEE stock,but have around 20k with Fidelity on top of my income shares,might just transfer the lot over or open another account with IG,HL as they almost match II for the number of investments👍🏻

Gymboy,with the impending transfer,what happens to your actual shares if your current brokerage doesn’t deal with the ASX market? From what I can gather,you lose the shares and get a receipt of sorts as proof of ownership of the transferred shares….or am i completely wrong!

I’m planning on adding more,just as soon as a few other of my sipp stocks actually come too life again! Sod’s Law at play right now.
