It will be more interesting if Iran do not accept the terms of deal. Market assuming that a deal will be done soon and Iran start pumping oil. But they are already selling whatever they can get from ground. It takes ages , maybe over a year to add new wells to pump more oil.
There is talk of Russia lending over $50 bln to Iran. If true, Iran may not need to accept terms of the deal.
Well explained Bradford, thank you. This part is most important part that made Exon and others invest in Kurdistan.
Article 126 states:
"...articles of the Constitution may not be amended if such amendment takes away from the powers of the regions that are not within the exclusive powers of the federal authorities, except by the approval of the legislative authority of the concerned region and the approval of the majority of its citizens in a general referendum".
There are no clear articles defining the powers of the Federal Government in respect of these matters; indeed the constitution states that in the event of contradictions between central and local laws of any regional administration, authority is conferred on the local administration.
Iran has been producing maximum they could. They can increase "over time" if foreign companies jump in after sanctions removed, to upgrade infrastructure. Trust will be built, if nothing goes wrong, over years not months as media suggests. In 3 months nothing can be done
Oil is hovering around 90. Whatever happens to Russia Ukraine, demand runs the price higher. Today higher home prices in China shows demand is getting higher and higher. US will be importer of oil this year.
Security of the country is most important for the government as they had enough fighting over last 30 years. Therefore, they don't want confrontation with Kurdistan government, strongest in Iraq, so they will compromise.
Wishful thinking.
Gold at $1813 shows how some people are mistaken.
Are they going to short further or start closing is interesting to watch and learn.
:)
Sorry to hear that Misrant
You are making too much assumptions, similar to the ones Tony Blair made before invading Iraq.
Normally facts and reality are different from assumptions but it is extreme sometimes.
Interesting question,
Where to retire?
I was considering council tax and whether as important factors.
What about you?
There are some good points: Own-mined gold production during the quarter was 101,600 ounces, a 17% increase year-on-year, thanks to higher production across all of its mines.
They are moving in the right direction.
Company cleaned from residues of old system. At the same time gold is becoming more in demand across the board.
