Hi spbhoy. I have not been a passive investor here. I have done my best to find out what FTI Consulting were doing to promote Avacta. On 8th July, I emailed them as follows:

Dear FTI Consulting Team looking after Avacta account,

As a shareholder, I am very keen to see the company do well. I think it might be helpful to their European sales effort if their name could be included in this Heidelberg university study showing independent reviews of lateral flow devices.

If Avacta could be included, their information would appear at the top of the list as it is in alphabetical order. I will also email Alastair Smith directly with this information. I'm sure that he will be interested to see that both Innova and Orientgene are considered of high to medium concern.

Not true FTS. My daughter knew she was negative having already recovered from Covid. She simply self-declared as negative to show how easy it was to do. Everyone agreed how ridiculous it is that the system can be cheated in this way. It's why the question of the QR code and linking each test to an individual is so important. Home use can't work without it.

As has been said many times, Avacta is not a one trick pony. I have a right to keep a holding here in anticipation of good news on the cancer front. Regarding the antigen lft, I have woken up and smelt the coffee. It should have been a fantastic investment, but the Government's ridiculous blinkered policy hugely reduces the opportunity.

And I say again, there is no mention of AffDX on the EU approved list which means that FTI Consulting are not doing their job (whatever it is) properly.

Can you find a more up to date EU list with AffiDX appearing on it? I couldn't. Happy to see your link to such a list.

On Tuesday,11 May, the European Union’s Health Security Committee(HSC) updated the common list of Covid-19 rapid antigen tests approved in the European Union (see EUROPEB12661A21). This list now includes 83 antigen tests, and for35 of them, the results are mutually recognised by all 27 Member States. Sorry, but Grant Schapps announcing LFT will be permissible for an ever dwindling international travel market doesn't excite me too much. Before you tell me to sell if not comfortable, I have done that already to a large extent. I now only have an exposure here that reflects my confidence (small.)

To me, this simply suggests that they still have a stockpile of crap Chinese antigen tests that they need to get rid of.
If you follow the direction of travel (i.e. get jabs into arms as fast as possible and in spite of whatever protests amongst the population) then the next round of testing will be for immunity (antibodies) rather than infectiousness (antigens). The idea being to support the booster roll-out. This is strongly hinted at in the following Lancet article (thanks to Rick123 on the ABDX board)

I've done both. Seemed like a good bet. The LFT antigen opportunity has now narrowed to testing for travel purposes only and there is obviously an agenda to stop travel for leisure purposes before too long.
All other testing will be to boost vaccine take up, based on zero or low immunity.

I can't decide whether to top up here or put some in ODX. What seems obvious is that 'immunity' rather than infectiousness will be the next focus. That means antibody testing of some description.

Perhaps Boris has remembered that his 'support' for UK diagnostics industry has led to 60 job losses there. Perhaps he's even paid the bill?

In RNS relating to MHRA and EU approval, AS stated: “Lateral flow tests have a crucial role to play in helping our societies and economies return to normal, and I am confident that the AffiDX® test will now play a significant part in this process."
Well if ever there was a week in which the abnormality of Government policy should have been rigorously debated, and the advantages of (accurate) LFTs sung from the rooftops, this is it. Crack on FTI Consulting, what are you waiting for?

There is ZERO long term evidence regarding fertility full stop. So how can there be ‘informed consent’? That is why in a week where the Gov has taken the unprecedented step of allowing children to decide (potentially against their parents’ wishes) whether or not to take the jab, it was the perfect opportunity for a PR blitz about the other way to control Covid - i.e. accurate lateral flow antigen testing. That was the very purpose for which it was conceived, not just to be a companion to the all-encompassing vaccine drive.

In a week where they are talking about bullying 12-16 year olds into taking the jab - a jab for which there is absolutely ZERO evidence that long-term fertility and health is unaffected, AS’ silence simply says that he has sold out.
