Agree with Tigra...except it may well be that plans to sell to certain parties can be achieved without falling foul of sanctions by Putin, whereas calling the deal off and reverting to fallback of mining for ourselves means a British company would be exploiting Russian-based assets for benefit of British shareholders. Not sure that Putin would turn a blind eye to that!

Let's face it, they need to keep the whole farce alive to force us to get our jabs come next winter.
