Always enjoyed having my money in gold stocks. Lot of uncertainty in the general market with inflation etc, combine this with the crypto boom (which I don’t think will last personally) and gold is a great insurance.

Still find that crazy.

It shows the potential. When borders reopened in Victoria, we mobilised MIDAS at BAILLESTON and began drilling, this shot up past 4p

Potential . 100000% but sooner or later you can run the company as good or as bad as you like, it’s all going to come down to what’s in the ground. The current HR3 assays were underwhelming. 21g/t is a fantastic strike. But on its own and with it being a very narrow intersection, it’s not enough for me to stay at Byron.

Hopefully get the legalities and necessary permits sorted for blue moon, stick a couple of holes in CRESWICK, and you’ll see movement. One step at a time.

Not just the LTH dhac, but those that find these kind of shares pre £50m market cap. It’s at these prices you set yourself up for big rewards. Creswick is the catalyst here, once drilling begins there, it’ll all start to fall into place.

He wouldn’t be buying any if he didn’t think the company was going to progress from its current position.

I think he’s doing a brilliant job. Communication from the company is a little poor but in terms of results, outstanding for me. Some very good grades being pulled out, 2,000 samples to come back from the labs, I’m very excited.

Yeah definitely. I’m in Antipa and their 100% owned land in Paterson has been named a possible next Havieron.

Companies need their own identify and you don’t need a 4moz deposit to make big gains. Was more thinking on the lines of GGP being 0.07p to what it is today, it’s become of the monstrous hits time after time after time. And still going.

The gains are made early on for me. If we can get CRESWICK up and running and start hitting regular high grade results (80g/t) etc, this will fly. The market sometimes doesn’t like looking at the big picture, short term results, big grades and sentiment will get this motoring.

Hopefully the license news is announced any day.

If we could replicate similar results I’d agree, or anything of the sort. The whole Havieron ggp story is a little frustrating to me. I think many investors were simply blessed with those results but need to factor in, your unlikely to see that sort of replication for a long time

But the best chance I believe is still CRESWICK. On a limited campaign to pull 1m@80g/t in phenomenal.

That’s why I have always been so bullish on CRESWICK. And although the JV won’t be signed imminently, drilling recommencing there is huge.

True, and an underground operation is not cheap by stretch of the imagination. That said, I highly doubt you’d have 2 majors on board who will have fully risk assessed the project, if production wasn’t an end goal

I’m hoping orosur gets bought out, or it’s share of Anza. But until then, big gains can still be made is the results continue

The factor which trumps all for me and is what’s most important, is how much of the good stuff is actually in the ground ?

Previous drilling campaigns/assays/results. Open at depth ? But this alone can’t just be considered. There’s the BOD, finances, support from majors, jurisdiction, are they actually in the hills drilling ? Or are they like a handful of listed companies on the AIm that are just full of hot air and empty promises. Winning solves a lot of problems. And on orosurs case, proving up the gold will solve a lot of problems. And it’s clearly there is vast amounts.

The end goal for all mining companies (or the majority) is to get to production. Now whether that’s a 20,000 oz short scale open pit operation or a 4moz underground operation, it’s all relative and varies from company to company.

That being said, it’s current levels like today that the real gains are made. Orosur are an exploration company. That is their service and a lot forget that. You need to look at how they use their time and resources in exploiting this service and if it ticks a box, invest.

I wasn’t one of the lucky ones that got into GGP at low low levels. January 2017 the price was 0.07p. Now I’m not saying anybody had that average but if they did, 1.4p would have been a 2000% increase. Selling that average at today’s price is a 28,000% profit. That’s insane but very possible. There are a lot of LTHs waiting for production and Goliath and so on, and why wouldn’t you, I think they’ll continue to grow at a frightening rate

My point being, my personal take on it is that the big gains and the big money is made earlier on. But every low cap company you come across won’t be a patch on ggp and Havieron. That’s why these opportunities are so rare yet so rewarding. Getting Orosur at 15p IMO can be a life changing average if you give it enough time.

Reddog. There could be a number of factors. Acceleration in the drilling is a massive boost. After the company collate the 2,000 samples incoming combined with the existing high grade assays, the may be able to throw a Jordanian together. A resource estimate. And bear in mind this is just for Alta. The project is vastly untested

I made a mistake last year selling up here. I moved a lot of it into ECR on the pre tense that a big JV was on its way, we have a resource of potentially hundreds of thousands of ounces at blue moon. But the recent results for me were less than satisfactory. In fact, there’s only been limited amounts of drilling carried out on both projects. I’m keeping my ECR shares in my sip but sold up in my ISA and bought Antipa. Going to be a huge company.

It’s all hindsight and selling up last year here actually turned out to be a good decision (financially). However, having recently bought back in a few months back, yesterday’s RNS was an eye opener. Brilliant grades, 5 drills, two JV partners. For its market cap, I don’t see anything on the market which can rival orosur for output. It’s going to be a long waiting game but we’ll get there. Action,not words, that’s what you need to invest in. £188m market cap puts this at £1 a share and I believe that’s an achievable target in the mid term.

That was a good RNS. The covid 3rd wave will put a few investors off and understandably. Jurisdiction is a huge factor

That being said, it looks like all business behind the scenes, the prices are a steal IMO. Fantastic grades, funded, great opportunity.

People need to be more focused on how the company are operating and not the short term share price. The campaign is ongoing and will be for some time. With that comes growth, and with growth the share price will take care of itself. Never good seeing paper losses and for those with a single digit avenge it must feel like 1 step forward 2 steps back. But I’ve been able to lower mine significantly from 30p

I wonder what this will drop to. Crazy numbers. Very happy buying at these levels

EWT - that’s a great post, not a ramp, just facts.

I look around the junior sector, look at market caps and today has finally slapped me in the face, this is a bargain. I’m full in with ECR in my sipp and hoping for a good push with a JV at Creswick, but the grades there, or at Oriole, or wishbone, or empire metals , compare with what’s going on at Orosur. Full speed ahead.

Great point about the two holes which never returned anything. They can be just as useful in identifying deposit limits etc like you mention.
Of course if your getting these holes on a regular basis when drilling, it’s more of a concern, but Orosur aren’t. I’d love somebody to collate data and compile together the holes drilled at Atpa and the grades they’ve returned. Considering there’s a whole lot more to Anza, it’s extremely exciting.

The ramp up in acceleration and drills on site, if nothing else, to me is a clear indication of the intentions over in Columbia.

Terrible time for the world with covid. 3rd waves striking the globe all over and South America is no exceptional. But like all mining investments, jurisdiction is a big factor. I get the feeling this is part of the reason for such sell offs lately, leading with caution. But for me it’s an opportunity to average down, a lot! It’s an essential industry in Columbia and they’ve clearly been busy behind the scenes, I think this has a long long way to run still.

And just to add, with 11 holes reported so far, and 18 complete or almost complete, who really wants to be outside of Orosur mining, when 7 lots of assays land on the lap of Brad George.

I don’t see a way Orosur is not eventually bought out because I think this project has real game changing legs.

But until that point, enjoy every minute, support the journey. The Gold is there. The drills are there. The JVs are there.
