RE: coal price20 Jan 2019 11:10
Bannor - Most are here for the same reason, and as you know a very odd few seem to have a slightly different agenda. Most users of this board have a pretty good idea where each other is coming from, but occasionally you have to use smileys and lol's to make a statement clear as it's very easy to take an ambiguous post personally.
JohnZ - I am sure there is, but I'm not going to get into a debate about the price of coal because every deal/situation is unique. The Coal that is of interest to me is the 173mt that will power the Sumbawanga Substation. Not forgetting in the short term good figures are essential.
Pi - I think one of the reasons for the SP is because this is AIM and across the market it's easy for mms to continually force a price down as it's not possible for them to force it up. Until such time as there is sufficient buying pressure nothing will ever change.
Sentanta - After reading the recent TGov report on the Stiegler's Gorge Hydroelectric Power Station and the mix of potential power sources carrots could be a realistic possibility if all else fails, as biomass is definitely on the Tanzanian table.
My personal feeling currently is that we are in the dark about much that we would like to know, hence the biggest problem affecting everything is the abysmal lack of communications from the company, but in saying that I sincerely believe that it will eventually be proven wrong to have totally underestimated the company as they are (as far as we know) progressing and achieving while fighting a battle in TanZ, with the TanZ Government and their bureaucracy and here on AIM.
As previously mentioned I think it's fair to say that the company have never ever put out a bad RNS, other than grammatically, although there is much to be desired in the wording I am sure that the company have always been conscious of keeping their RNS's honest while treading a finite line.
The truth is ONLY TIME will tell imo
