I've never taken much notice of KAT, although I did consider buying in in the early days. As a consequence I don't know their situation, and haven't got a clue what's going on over there, but was really surprised today to see that they are down 4/5 on the year. Which brought back thoughts of Metal Tiger currently down 67.76% on the year..

The Bid is not down. The Offer was reduced from 0.15 to 0.14 hopefully in an attempt to make a market.

I might even have the 250k on offer to see what happens because I'm bored! ?...

We know there's a chance of news on most all of the projects, with the possible exception of the Tender. Little chance of any news there, but if successful I'd guess it will arrive without warning.

The current impasse with regards to our RCPP (just our Tanzanian Project) lays firmly at the feet of the Tanzanian Government.

I bought in on the big slide, so knew little of LC at that time. imo there is no point continually slating him as much in Tanzania is totally out of his control. Our flagship is where it is NOT because of LC, but because of the government of the county that we have invested in. AND there is a direct comparison with regard to the Tender in Edenville.

For me LC is the reason that I have stayed, and thus far it's my intention to do so for some time to come. My original point was about the man, and I believe that when some of the restaurants ease and other processes advance there is a greater likelihood of success over failure. If I thought for a second that my investment here was dead in the water I would be gone in a flash. Yes, because LC seems like a genuinely nice guy with charisma and infectious enthusiasm doesn't mean he will deliver.

I personally prefer a clearly intelligent personable CEO rather than a couple of AIM CEO's whose names I don't care to mention.

On my meetings with LC I have been fortunate enough to have spent time talking to him on my own. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. He as charisma, and an enthusiasm that is infectious. Hopefully we will all be rewarded for the faith (that I think it's fair to say) that many of us have put into the man, rather than the company!

Apparently dam collapses are not uncommon in the world, and we don't always hear about them. When I read the news they thought that 200 people had died, latest news suggests some 300 plus have actually died, and I guess that number could still rise.

I read something somewhere years ago about quite a substantial dam (from memory) that collapsed as a consequence of using spied photos and a cardboard model as their plan... It doesn't seem feasible, but we live in a very strange world where the less surprised I become the older I get!

SP Angel have 208 small cap companies under their name in various rolls including Nomad, Joint Broker & Nomad, Financial Adviser and all the combinations, and that is without there Technology and others sectors. I notice they have added another small company today, so they are clearly adding at a rate. Onwards and upwards.

Some 300 people are missing after a dam collapsed at an iron ore mine in south-eastern Brazil, company officials say. The break caused a sea of muddy sludge that buried the dam's cafeteria where hundreds of workers were eating lunch. ... It is not clear what caused the collapse. Very sad!
