We know Edenville's view regarding the importance of the $455m Transmission Interconnector after our discussions with the bod at the AGM and their RNS that caused the single largest spike in the history of the company.
As a consequence of the advancing project I would expect (even more so now) that the respective governments will be under increasing pressure from The AFD, The World Bank and the European Union who are financing the Project.
Never forgetting other opportunities/scenarios that could be thrown into Edenville's path !!!

"The French financial institution is also supporting the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. The French financial institution also supports the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. AFD thus joins the World Bank and the European Union which are financing this project. The project will enable the construction of a 400 kV transmission line and substations from Iringa to Sumbawanga via Mbeya and Tunduma and the Tunduma interconnection line in Tanzania’s Songwe region to the border with Zambia. The objective of this power interconnection project is to ensure security of electricity supply to the countries in the East African sub-region and the pooling of energy resources in the region.
