Recent 400 kV Transmission Interconnector news 29/06/2020

"The French financial institution is also supporting the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. The French financial institution also supports the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. AFD thus joins the World Bank and the European Union which are financing this project. The project will enable the construction of a 400 kV transmission line and substations from Iringa to Sumbawanga via Mbeya and Tunduma and the Tunduma interconnection line in Tanzania’s Songwe region to the border with Zambia. The objective of this power interconnection project is to ensure security of electricity supply to the countries in the East African sub-region and the pooling of energy resources in the region.

Who knows how the Tanzanian Government/Tanesco's mind works?.
Also it doesn't look as if Kibo are currently doing anything about their invite!?..

Kibo where re invited (20/04/19) by Tanesco to develop their MCPP enabling engagement in the African Power Pools. We have more coal than Kibo, so is it because we have a (usually) working coal mine that we didn't get the same offer?

I can't remember the detail, but think the name was registered when they were looking to diversify. Was it around the time of the failed RCPP Tender?. Academic really as RS is now just a share holder.

N'as pas peur indeed.

What would be nice is in addition to the recent RNS, is to have a regular stream of news as to the on going situation/current status, AND to be kept right up-to-date with regard to their future plans.

Interesting summary by a professional, which is slightly different to how I see things/feel as an investor. The market definitely don't seem impressed.

The positivity that was oozing from the company a year ago has disappeared, they are not shouting from the rooftops as they were. What has changed? What don't they understand about the importance of news flow on AIM??

As the guy said we need some contacts or where else will the news come from??

Double the bid is less than the Placing price of 0.875.. Two years ago they were predicting 12p to 15p...

I've been averaging down continuously (as I do with all my shares), in this case since the falling sword. To-date I have only managed to get down to 1.74p which is no mean feat imho considering where I was.

Very doubtful I'll be breaking even anytime soon, and there are many more with higher averages than me!
