VWAP is just an average of an average, and it only looks at one day at a time due to its intraday calculation. Mms don’t need to control the weight as they have carte blanche to do what they like. If it’s being manipulated it is more than likely SpreadEx and/or InterTrader (or others) which has always been the case since they bought in, it’s WHY they bought in !!
