I doubt they’d be able to get another rights issue away like they did in May - that was mostly taken up VH’s mates, now they are jumping ship as they realise this is in desperate need of a rescue. It might be sufficiently capitalised right now, but the market is a forward looking mechanism and can clearly see it will run out of cash in the near future.

Agreed. Quite simple way to think about it - the MREL interests costs are £80m alone, which is more profit than they made in their best year. I really don’t see how this is a viable entity longer term.

Nope. I do usually sell in the afternoon, and reload the short in the first hour of the new day but in the last 20, not many have have had afternoon “rises”
