That’s what I did, but from 260p I sold shares that I was long and took a levered spreadbet short and now well in the money.

I was short tcg too (see my posting history) but in hindsight closed too early. I was also long metro, but sold at a loss and now in profit on my short.

Or go short and make money every day like me...

A lot more weakness to come. It’s constantly closing at the lows of the day. This is seriously weak price action, especially given other UK banks are rallying. I think there’s some devastating news about to be released (fca fine?) and the market/big players are slowly unwinding in anticipation of it.
