That’s just not true. You had three chances to sell into the rises last week and buy back lower. You could have stayed long and got 30% more shares in the process.

Easy to say in hindsight ofcourse but if this was to all
Come good you will have plenty of time to get back in long.

Bottom line is don’t dig your heels and get emotional with your position. If the market tells you something different be willing to be flexible and get out - that’s what I did with my most recent long at 866p, and have just been shorting the fake rises. If the information changes I won’t hesitate to go long either. Just stay nimble

NMC accused FT of false reporting and now the FT journalist is hitting back. Reuters are also preparing an analysis to dissect the shareholding mess - watch out for that.

I’ve stated on here that I have no agenda on NMC, I really don’t care which way nmc goes, I just do short term trading and buy and sell into this every other day. My shorts far outweigh my longs however so naturally I have a negative bias, but I base my views on the prevailing facts in what is a fluid situation.

As Winston Churchill once said... “When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do?”

And thanks for drawing up that table of stocks. Most of my long term holds and in much safer companies in the payments space like GPN, WEX, V and MA.

Definitely does apply to me, far too many times where I’ve ridden a share down and then got out too early when it’s rebounded... momentum in stocks is such a powerful thing.

Also a roll up story, understated debts, shady governance, insider selling at the top...

Probably is salvageable... but what if it’s only for 3-4-500p? No matter how much a stock has fallen it can still fall another 50%.
