Come on Abzzba, help me out with the maths. They’ve spent $1.5m on Gobi and YOU just told us a well costs $4m to bring it to production. Which means in the unlikely scenario it’s commercial they’ll need to find another $2.5m - where is that coming from.

Now apply similar maths to Heron2 and Gazelle.

The management have also failed to deliver a fit for purpose sales agreement.

They’ve also diversified into other areas without covering the basics of the Heron field they’ve been waiting to get stuck into since 2019. And now can’t afford to develop it.

Not everything is their fault - it’s not easy dealing with the snidey PC but why would any genuine investor be defending MB like they do?

Heron 1 was already paid for apparently so we can probably discount that but Heron 2 was spud 09th September

So we’re a couple of weeks behind. Perhaps they’ve already secured the contractors this time. I’d say it’s 50-50 whether all 3 wells get worked before we run out of time. Things rarely seem to play out on the happy path - it’s Mongolia.

I’m sure people will say no way would the company be sold for 2p a share and perhaps not. But that’s a 150% uplift in n current value, which is the value assigned in the recent raise.

Even if more than that would be needed, the underlying point stands - why would a partner give a massive upfront payment at a multiple of the entire MCAP for a % of a single asset?

Why would a farmee pay us $60m upfront for a 50% share of a field when the entire company could probably be bought for that?

As Unnd has highlighted perhaps they’d commit to spending the first $60m of expenditure for a 50% of the revenue from that first $60m.

At that point we’d be getting a free ride and money in which would be brilliant and the SP will be multiples of now. That received money would then be used to fund our share of the remaining costs to get further producing wells spun up.

Right now potential farmees will want to see more evidence of a commercially viable field, because they’ll be concerned as to why a well only 800metres from (the 3rd best well in history) Heron1 is borderline commercial.

Heron 2 result will be massive imo. It’s a 1-3 shot for those who understand gambling

But if Heron 2 again disappoints, of which we’ve been told there’s a 1 in 4 chance this will drop bigtime.

If gazelle loses its coin toss, that won’t be well received.

Gobi is circa 90% likely to be written off.

The Chinese could again withhold payment (impossible to apply a % but the let’s face it they’re playing by their own rules)

The tax dispute could go against us meaning the economics become less appealing.

With a Mongolia explorer plenty can go wrong. Just like it did when you used to pepper the board with the same rhetoric at 1.5p, 2p, 2.5p etc etc.

Maybe those young girls had accidentally bought £20k worth of MATD shares in 2019 and then spent 6 years lecturing about how obvious (last years) price action was.
