Costs for the year must be $9m + $4.5m =13.5m minus the $2.5m left = $11m.

A bit late to the party discussing the comments I made on the finances but welcome - more productive than simply name calling.

I explained we don’t know the annual costs. But H1 was circa $2.5m. Why do you disagree with that, what’s your logic and rationale? Actual costs will far far exceed $5m, I was only discussing running costs not the specific drilling. So I was actually UNDERSTATING them. I covered all of this so invite you to re read it.

The RNS said what the value was at todays oil price. Take it up with the company if you disagree. It’s hardly a made figure when it’s taken directly from the most recent RNS. I’ve also acknowledged, as I’ve no reason not to be objective, that there was a potential discrepancy between their sums and their EXPLICIT statement. I’ll stick with the latter and you can sledge it if you want.

So far that’s worked well for me, you can’t buy back in 25% better because you’ve already tried averaging down and are now so overweight here you’ve can’t even follow your own (stolen) seasonal trading advice. Go and look back and you’ll see I listed H2 failure as a massive risk / problem. I think I was unlucky given the stated COS but there we go. I took my medicine. Your ego won’t allow you to sell at a loss (or be honest about it).

You know full well the point being made is a CEO of a company making $500k buying 100k shares isn’t significant when he gets a 45% discount. My example was that you were happy to spend not only whatever you hold but another £20k for your son at full price. So I’d suggest you’ve got more pro data skin in the game than him. But as say perhaps you earn $500k or more too. Either way you, MB, me and probably everyone else is down here.

If I was guessing I’d say back then people were still chasing the big dream of an explorer with potential other wildcats drills, whereas now we’ve seemingly arrived at the promised ground of production and people have twigged 20 producing wells need funding.
