Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
"The company is not taken seriously enough in a commercial arena. Had this been any other exploratory miner the SP would have reflected the relevant RNS's. Thor need to realize just one project to be taken seriously, then it would be all systems go."
I find these comments somewhat amusing. THR have just received grants for not 1, not 2, but 3 independent projects in Australia, paid for by the Australian State Government/s. One of them is a significant JV with another company utilising research outputs from one Australia's most prestigious commonwealth research institutions.
"Yeah.... All those rubbish claims with quantified resources and 4 paid up drill programmes."
Yeah exactly, like the ~ 200,000 tonnes of copper in South Australia** which is worth about US$2bn at current copper prices ($10k/tonne), and potentially US$3-4bn if the Goldman Sachs report is anything to go by.
** The THR entitlement, of an estimated 400,000 Tonnes within the Envirocopper - THR Joint Venture
"Sorry meant 400,000 tonnes Copper"
Isn't It 400,000 tonnes copper jointly with Envirocopper? THRs entitlement is 80% Alford East, and ~30% for Alford west and Kapunda. If you do the weighted averages across the 3 sites, it means something like 200,000 tonnes is THRs allocation.
"Is that the BDSM stuff where the female wears a strap on?"
Yeah, thats the one, but I am sure you prefer Cold-Docking, which despite as the name suggests, does not refer to mineral-transport by sea in frigid places like Alaska or Greenland
"Anyone care to explain to me please how we can get a 40%+ rise in Oz overnight, and only what is currently a 3.47% rise here? I didn't expect 40% here but I thought/hoped for maybe 20%
Also recently there was a 175% rise in America too a few days ago, that had no impact in the UK.
Any comments most welcome"
-- only explanation in my opinion is a relatively low-liquidity stock, and seperate markets, how does one evaluate fair value, which market rules the roost?
"And once Gerviase Heddle finishes his 'gardening leave' term from Greatland Gold in the next month or two and heads over to Thor, expect things to ramp up considerably before the Gold bull market run starts in earnest this Summer !!"
Ricky Gervais is into mining ?
