Corral-Part,
"Absolutely my own decision. I have my reasons for sitting this out. Wish everybody still holding all the best."
Quite agree. And thanks for your best wishes.
I think there are a couple or three elephants in the room which people like to avoid noticing, or mentioning.
The SP is 'posted' as that of the latest 'Automatic Trade' (AT). Now this is usually taken to be 'bot trading', algorithms doing their thing, but it isn't, always. When I've traded a share, I always do so in weird, easily-recognised numbers. And I've had 'em show up as 'AT', 'OT', and one time as a 'UT'!
The thing being, once I've put in a buy or sell order, via internet and via my bank (Credit Agricole), I haven't a clue where it goes next, nor through whose hands. And don't care, really. So long as it gets executed. But the thing is, even a small PI order CAN affect the SP, if it passes through the hands of someone who can book it as 'AT'.
I do actually believe that movements in one stock can affect others, because of their 'ownership base', and that the PI market's pockets aren't bottomless.
So back to the elephants. We've had SXX, JOG, ECO, now TLW. People have lost money. Unlikely to be buying more shares quickly. We've got a UK election in a few days, upon the result of which will revolve a Brexit decision. And to crown it all, Christmas is coming, and people often like to have some cash around for that to ensure they can buy a fat goose, and not a scrawny one. So may possibly be pillaging their savings ( such as 'risky stocks') to ensure a merry yuletide.
Maybe simplistic, but not impossible.
