I was going to post something about at what market cap would a bidder be prepared to have a go? In other words, when do we reach the tipping point at which a bidder decides they want to have a pop before the value runs away from them.

Antonio, is it? As I understand it, Barneveld was based in Oz as was DV and NM. Barneveld has gone, DV is relocating to the UK, so that leaves NM.

I think the real management power is now based in Europe.

As far as shareholdings are concerned, NM and BHP are in OZ, Newmont is in the Sates, the CGP mob are Canadian and then we have our friends in China.

Incidentally, I hope our lads don't waste money on an ASX listing.

Btw, like you, I'm convinced there's much more going on than drilling results/CIPA etc.

They've been in situ for 8 months or so, and given they're dealmakers, you'd assume they'd be concentrating on matters which play to their strengths and are critical to the future i.e funding/jv/sale/ExCo et al.
