1) we have sufficient cash to get us through to June '24.

2) we are talking to 'multiple parties' about a wide range of potential options.

3) the political situation, whilst not ideal, appears to be favouring development.

4) the company is now being led by people who want to sell Cascabel.

In my opinion, to describe it as being in a perilous situation is to misrepresent the facts.

I too am fed up with the slow progress and current sp. I do not pretend this is without risk and have said so many, many times in the past.

The difference between us is that I think SC can deliver something and, as Bozi has just said, he represents our best chance.

NAL, I know in modern life we've all been told that we must accept the ludicrous doctrine that everyone's opinion is as valid as anyone else's, but each time you post you amply prove just how misguided this is.

Tesla, the cynicism surrounding the company is completely understandable, but ultimately it comes down to whether people believe in the CEO or not. It's my view he's credible, honest and is getting on with the task in hand, but that's simply my opinion.

As to your point about what else he could say, you can turn that question round. In other words, he can't reveal what's actually going on - his hands are bound by confidentiality. So yes, what else could he say?

I thought this interview was more interesting than any presentation he's done and for once he was asked some decent questions.

Since I happen to believe he's not a liar, I'm prepared to take him at face value when he states there are lots of parties interested and multiple options are being discussed. I also thought his analysis of the risks was valuable, particularly the technical issues. And I completely disagree that he's no better than Mather and DC. I just hope I'm not proved wrong!

DM, it'll be interesting to see if they're good for their word and do respond via individual email. I'd put the likelihood as being virtually zero.

I didn't feel that way at all Orthern, but then again apparently I'm one of the mad ramper crew, so I'm bound to say that.

I think he was professional and I've come away thinking we are nearer to some form of action than we may think. He sounded confident without being arrogant, unlike NM, nor sleepy like DC.

However, I was disappointed that the host chose not to ask some of the more pointed questions - in fact I'm very annoyed by his refusal to do so. These blokes act like a censor between us and our board and they have no right doing so.

A minor point; it's 'damp squib', which is a firework, and not 'damp squid'. All squids are damp unless they've been fried.

The audit sign-off discussions would have been interesting and I think your point about having options, which would have to have been substantiated, is valid. Once upon a time it was possible to fob auditors off with a lot of guff about this question, but following too many scandals, standards have been improved.
