Just following on from this really:

This week should show all LTHs as well as MTHs and new holders (welcome by the way!) the potential of #BOIL.
In x4 days, the SP did nearly 50% on no news at all.....
....now, just picture:
1. A JV is announced.
2. Timor either green light Sunrise or Chuditch (or both)....Chuditch isn't dependent on Sunrise, don't forget!
3. A rig is researched and looked into.
4. A drill date and locations agreed for a field that Shell quoted as 100% derisked geologically (check the RNS).
5. Andy Yeo moves out of his Mum's spare room and buys a robe (ditching the dressing gown).
This is all just my opinion (please do your own research), but in my view, the potential here is genuinely frightening. I've done my research....and I'm invested for the long ride....not 50%.
x14 undervalued compared to peers.
Minimum derisked SP £0.0045 to above £0.03....all from these levels. Just imagine that over your weekend tea/coffee/beverage of choice.

Worth reading and looking at.
Hopefully, worked through now and as normal tomorrow.

A good post Filthy....and a good combination of points (both positive and negative).
I agree with your climate change comments. I think this year/next is key around the world. Projects already in progress will continue as the world needs gas and will continue to need gas. However, future projects will become harder to fund and justify (whether we agree with that or not).
If Chuditch gets the green light this year or next, I do really think it's game on. If pushing back to '25/26.....less so!
This is all just my opinion! Worth mentioning the bull side as well - oil use has never been higher and there is a well publicised need for gas in South East Asia for the foreseeable.
Eddie and Vic - you are 100% correct.
Ideal world, we'd all love to be at 1p+ already. However, BoD gave a clear plan and timeline.
I do sometimes wonder if people actually research. Nobody wants to be at 0.08p, but we know what we have and how the board are planning their course through the Q&As etc.
On a JV, we should see an SP increase (maybe not rockets though!). Then, TL approval, rig, dates, drills all see catalysts as we build towards it. This would then, hopefully, go absolutely effing mental on gas!!!
For SP price action comparison, have a look at Upland Resources over a one year period and then last 5 days as well.
If we do get good, concrete news, this will fly. It is popular with PIs and is constantly in top daily volumes even on low SPs
Things going for us:
- a genuine world class gas resource (and it's in an area that needs it...and it's not oil!!)
- 3D done, shallow water, multiple fast track extraction options.
- Shell's drill has derisked (reduced the risk) of it.
- A clear timetable and a CEO that says we are "pregnant with news".
- Money in the bank and 24 month cash runway.
- Timor urgently need the money!
Against:
- No concrete news...and other shares now with news...= boredom and leave.
- Timor have d*cked around for so long, nobody believes it until it happens.
- No JV yet signed.
That pretty much sums it up IMHO. It might drift lower, it might stay in the 0.08-0.1 range. I'm holding as I'm in at a 0.85 average and am going with the 0.45 derisked target post JV.
Good luck all. 😁👍

#BOIL
The Chinese have had a long standing interest in Timor and have already funded the airport. Timor's location is huge (politcally) and as are their gas reserves, which China are keen to tie up.
The Australians are desperate to keep the Chinese away and this may force Australia and Woodside's hand on the Sunrise decision.
Australia already changed laws to allow for Timor's CCS plans and this increases the pressue...and again, good news for #BOIL and Chuditch!
I feel your pain....and echo it here with the missus. Come on #BOIL, save our marriages!
The asset is the most important thing. Our BoD also don't seem like confetti printing charlatans (I hope!) so let's keep those fingers crossed for a JV and some kind of positive market reaction. 🤞👍🍿
I mean how hard is it to get this effing Sunrise report done and agreed. Clearly harder than it should be!
I also feel that going FLNG with Chudotch is a joke brainer and I just can't understand why TL are delaying in agreeing it......well I can.....it's the effing politics of Gusmao, Tasi etc.
Rant over. Short story long, again, signs are encouraging and great to have the Chinese sniffing as the Aussies will be bricking it.
