Extensions aren’t just dished out, they’re only given if a company can show they intend on completing ‘x’ financing by the agreed date.
Typically evidence of ‘turning things around’, production increase, profit or overcoming issues which got said company into current predicament need to be proved in order for an extension to be agreed.
So if an extension is agreed this week (which i have no doubts it will) bare in mind lenders are convinced new ceo has his house in order and evidence has been shown to them outlining one of the above in order for them to agree to it.
Lenders are not obliged to agree to extension after extension, changes have been made at board level, new plant manager has been bought in, stable production is being achieved, hopefully no more typhoons on the horizon, things are looking much brighter at mtl. Current share price is ridiculous, anyone buying and holding for a few months will imo no doubt be worth multiples of current sp.
That said, this is aim and nothing can be taken for granted so good luck to all invested.
