Kane - rather than question his motives why don't you just read what he has said and let it sink in. It really is a damning indictment of the way this company has been managed. Ratcliffe might be wanting this to fall, he might be a "paid deramper", he might have a grudge against the board, he might have a grudge against AIM in general. One thing for certain is everything he has just said is true. 97% loss and they have the nerve to talk about shareholder value? Why do people like you stick up for them? I can only assume that you are hoping for a miracle. You can't defend them. Nobody could be informed of their performance here and have a shred of sense if they defend them.

I was talking simply about them being in discussions. We can't prove that they aren't. I have a skeptical view on how advanced talks are and who they are with but, as I say, it can't be proved. Therefore, until we have any more information we have to live in hope that we aren't being taken for a ride.

It is a tough position for a shareholder to be in though. We all know that its impossible to prove a negative so the only thing that we have left is to trust people whose interests don't align with our own. it isn't ideal but we are where we are.

bp82 - it was clarified that these aren't RNS's and do not incur the same fee. No harm, no foul.

BoD buy was minimal, Slater increase positive but mostly irrelevant, confirmation of talks doesn't give an idea of how advanced they are or who is involved and we have been told for years that we are talking with big pharma who are looking to 'fill their pipelines'. The negative to me is the lack of tangible information. If the history of dilution and the lack of funds wasn't looming over the company it would be a lot more of a positive place to be. However, that threat of your money turning into nothing is never too far away here. That's why the JV is so essential. Money in the bank over ambiguous statements please.

I wasn't really expecting this news to increase the SP though - it is more of an interesting side note to have something to read. We had initial trial data in Dec 2017 so there isn't much new. We also had confirmation of this peer review before Christmas and now here it is so it isn't a surprise. We have played most of our cards now. Its time for the big one (JV) or its goodbye. Nothing else will move this forward now.

I'm surprised there was no comment with today's release. Anyway, at least it looks like the BOD are engaging with shareholders now with some releases over the last few days. The next one needs to be JV news though.

Uncanny - The company has been consistently under the value of other bios for a long, long time now. Generally, any market disparity is corrected in a fairly short time frame and any long standing disparity is down to the market having issues with a company. I think the fact that VAL shareholders are diluted to such an extent is the problem here. Why buy now when you can buy after the next fund raise? You can therefore apply that logic ad infinitum and never invest which is clearly what people have done here. It'll take news of an actual deal to force the market's hand but once it does the SP increase will be incredible. It all depends on whether you think that news will come.

unexplored formulation may also be considered in the context of the treatment of psychosis." So basically, the only positives they commented on were what Risperidone already does. This better not be a royal waste of everybody's time!!

Scooby - I've read it a few times now and can't see anything that stands out as overly positive or negative. Seems like it is a continued waste of time to be honest. The conclusion says absolutely nothing of note at all.

Hi Freddie - Thanks for clearing that up. I now see that it states RNS-R. Fair enough if there is no cost involved - it made interesting reading and at least it is some kind of communication which is good to see!
