If you can sell some if your shares for the price of the placing (0.0275p) or close to, and buy the same amount in the retail offer, you’re essentially protecting yourself against a drop in SP if the overall placing fails (where the SP may fall and you could buy back lower). If the placing is successful, you’ve got your shares still. Added benefit is that PREM get the funds too. I moved 100m of my shares over Friday on HL (sold at 0.274p). Really quite easy and a bit of a no brainer if you ask me..

Placings are still under the same legislation and limits, but because placings receive an exemption to the rules because they are going to less than 150 people or to a qualified investor (institutional investors), so these exemptions mean no limits on placements.

The EGM/SGM meeting lifting the headroom may be called soon but I believe we will hear about funding from external parties before any placing COULD take place. I believe it’s 21 days notice for the EGM/SGM
