Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Old article , but useful in terms of understanding the challenges of Thar lignite/coal

Merry Christmas one and all.
Was looking at the messages for late December 2021, share price was double that of today. Great hope on gold , but oddly gone very quiet.
Share is a steal at this price, as GH in sunny , windy ****stan , must give us a cost advantage. Forget exports not cost effective/efficient at the moment,at least a decade away IMHO but fantastic for fertilizer production, where there is a ready local and international demand.
I think ****stan will have turbulent times ahead, I believe only 5 weeks of import cover , but am sure Imran will be back in power and confidence will return.

Confirmed, they are reporting on feasibility only.
CEO of Oracle, Naheed Memon, commented: “thyssenkrupp is an undisputed heavyweight in the emerging commercial hydrogen industry and to have them leading our project technical and commercial feasibility study forward is a clear signal of the enormous potential value of this project. As a pioneer in the industry, thyssenkrupp’s expertise is highly sought after and I believe their agreement to support us is testament to the opportunity we have for establishing a facility in ****stan to produce what is becoming the new global fuel, which is in critical demand, as the world transitions to green energy.
Hi my understanding is that thyssenkrupp-uhde are purely being paid to do the feasibility report, but chats below suggest they are more deeply involved?
Can anyone clarify ?

Jurisdiction, definitely, look at the falling fdi in ****stan.

But high risk countries, give exaggerated returns if we can get it over the line.
Big fan of GH .

Lots of challenges, but ammonia for Local market would seem ideal, as ‘big’ importers.
Amazing week, up 30% in last week approximately
What I was impressed by was despite the political turmoil in ****stan , no negative affect on share price.
No mention at JCC on our projects , or have I missed it? Also is there any update on gold ?
Great news indeed , also note firm doing similar study across the water

Hi all
Ammar H. Khan is ****stani economist i have followed for years on twitter.
He has risen through the ranks, writes for all the major PK papers now, was on Al jazeera the other day.
He is scathing about this governments and previous ones economic policies, rightly so , as clearly can't support the burgeoning population without aid or loans. Even the PM says the country has a begging bowl.
Anyway he says the countries new policy for solar is totally skewed to suppliers, just like previous IPP contracts, i.e big juicy profits for us.
Assuming no defaults or payment issues, i.e circular debt and the $billion plus owed to Chinese for power recently, this is a no brainer.

lol as this offends try this shorturl.at/GLOSU
Finally he also reiterates what i have said before, pk, has enough generating capacity, just cant afford to run it due to wrong fuel mix, theft and transmission losses
PSO today announced $500 million investment in an LNG terminal.

Maybe we need to work backwards, what are the implications for the government for either of these projects, that may delay things?
Hydrogen , I think has no real government cost implications, of course huge infrastructure required to transport the energy, but as far as i can see the government is not a financial partner. does this come under CPEC?, then Chinese need to approve.
The Thar power station, needs a committed buyer. which can only be the government discos , there are also fixed charges, is there sufficient transmission to transmit this power? Although there are constant outages, I believe the installed power capacity of the country is double that of the restricted usage. Although lignite is brown coal, the dirtiest fuel going, are there any environmental considerations, thinking specially water in a near dessert?
Hi guys, is there any update or timeline on Australian prospects?
Chinese investors in initial CPEC power projects are not getting paid, apparently $912 million in arrears.

Commodities on high, this share will rocket.
I love Green Hydrogen, theoretically all countries can diversify their energy supplies, stop over reliance on regimes like Saudi, the Gulf, Russia, whilst improving the environment and potentially stopping global warming of which ****stan is one of the most vulnerable.
For me , the RNS confuse me, there is a solar park, there is a hydrogen plant, depending on location, there is pipelines and storage then there is shipping. I thought ORCP would concentrate on the first two elements, but we appear to want to develop the whole ecosystem. Yet not delivered a thing over 15 years, so why try to overachieve? develop a track record first.
Great ambition, but not for a £7 million company with no experience, other projects in the pipeline in Australia and half a dozen staff for a multi billion dollar project.
What would I do ? sign up a customer like Germany and develop the project jointly, just like Namibia, get the knowledge experience and infrastructure in place, then use that experience to supply domestic markets and beyond.
Germany is looking for partners according to Reuters https://www.reuters.com/article/germany-angola-green-hydrogen-idINL6N2Y20AE
Remember , ****stan is largely dessert , some of the highest solar irradiance in the world, as long as water available, incredible advantage.
