Scottish Health Secretary today announced the Scot Gov are increasing lab testing facilities by increasing facilities at Gartnavel Hospital - Glasgow and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Foresthill Aberdeen. this will increase testing by 30K a day - a further site will be identified for East Scotland in January which will then take testing to 65K a day.
Also another test centre has opened today in Oban

All the negative chat re Government falling out with us nonsense - I find it very hard to believe with the challenges that the Gov are facing with this terrible disease that there is a fallout. If the gov are still having to procure sub-standard LFT's from other countries why would they fall out with GM who is based in the UK offering a range of "Gold Standard" products and the continued innovation- my view of this is that Novacyt have a priority foothold on some significant gov business and the gov strategy is to spread the load and keep all supply options open.
