All travellers that are flying out of airports are expected to obtain a Fit to Fly certificate but the haulage issues in Dover has highlighted a massive gap in keeping everyone safe in all European Countries' and wider - the lorry drivers are travelling from Europe and wider with produce etc and once they arrive here are travelling the length and breadth of the UK but there isn't a process in place (to my knowledge) that is the equivalent of Fit to Fly? So not only are they carrying produced into the UK but could they be carrying anything else without a process in place? Think about it, one of the worst affected areas in the UK has been Kent!

We were posting a couple of days ago on here re tests being mailed to postcode G21 1AA - Scotland's main Royal Mail Processing Centre - I think the tests were being mailed to BioLab?

The Mail site last night confirmed they have suffered an outbreak of the virus currently 38 members of staff

Many on here criticise the government and on this covid journey they have made mistakes and I am sure if they could turn back time they would do many things differently - but one thing I would like to acknowledge is that after the PM's press conference on Saturday where he delivered more bad new re travel & spending time with loved ones for Christmas - Maybe I picked it up wrongly but I felt the media were treating the UK like the creator of covid but since then now many other countries are coming out the woodwork to confirm that the new strain is also appearing in their countries - at least the UK stood up to be counted even though there are plenty who want to knock them down. No other government had the balls to be counted - they're happy to hide in the shadows of the UK and let us take the brunt of the bad press!

We may take a small drop in Fit to Fly sales but that market has not yet had the opportunity to realise its full potential and would imagine that hasn't been included in any forecast due to the continued challenges around air travel.

What do you need in addition to the detail from GM in this mornings RNS - Surely the detail is referring to contracts which I am sure GM is not providing for nothing (so significant sales) and what more of an update do you need as he is confirming deployment across the NHS (what bigger market is there currently in the UK for NOVA products) & globally. Also confirming NOVA test picks up the new variant!

Just wondering - could the delay in rolling out the Astra Vaccine be due to further testing being done with the vac in light of this new mutation to establish what/if /how much level of protection it will offer?
