Astra Vaccine - Testing19 Dec 2020 08:23
Just wondering - could the delay in rolling out the Astra Vaccine be due to further testing being done with the vac in light of this new mutation to establish what/if /how much level of protection it will offer?
Novacyt are obviously working tirelessly in the endeavours to lead the way - keeping ahead of the game.
Also, the fact that GM is leading the charge in developing/delivering new tests;
See below some key words from GM 14th Dec RNS - :
rapidly - developing - emerging - infectious - disease - threats - market - intelligence - expertise - development - demonstrate - support -scientists and clinicians around the world, as well as expanding our portfolio."
RNS 14th Dec - Graham Mullis, Chief Executive Officer of Novacyt, commented:
"Novacyt has long been at the forefront of rapidly developing tests to assist with the diagnosis and monitoring of emerging infectious disease threats. We continue to demonstrate this market intelligence and expertise with the development of these new RUO products to support scientists and clinicians around the world, as well as expanding our portfolio."
When some on here are complaining about no news from GM - Let's not lose sight of the incredible time, effort and expertise being put into keeping on top of this terrible virus and that at the moment must be GM's top priority?
