Yes, extremely frustrating at lack of updates coming out which raises questions - but let's hang onto NO news is Good News. We can all sometimes be blinded with some of the doubts/questions that are posted but I try and go back to some of the RNS's and pull out what I believe are the "dots to join up" LOL

Just going back to the RNS 21st Dec (only 2 weeks ago) - why would GM make reference as he has below if the relationship was in question or we had failed in delivering the contract?

If the above holdings are correct it gave me more confidence in what is going on behind scenes with Ruth Powell's holding - I checked out her profile - so why would she be holding such a volume if this wasn't the place to be? Also a very well connected lady in the diagnostics world.

We've also seen on here re "join up the dots" - extract from the R&D RNS - Note below the start of the sentence - the word FURTHER (to the 2nd DHSC Contract)

"Further to the announcement of Novacyt's second contract with the UK DHSC on 29 September 2020 for the supply of q16 and q32 instruments and test kits to NHS hospitals, the clinical trial is being expanded into additional settings across the UK where the Company's NPT systems are being deployed."

Maybe I am only trying to convince myself all is good but with everything we have all read and researched over many months I find it hard to believe anything otherwise - however not long now before we will all be getting the answers!

There are constant questions being asked re when will we hear an update for DHSC contracts - as has been mentioned by several on this BB and some have questioned the relationship with the Government - why when Novacyt is ahead of the game in many areas of the fight against Covid why would the government choose to change supplier mid-flight at this crucial stage??????????? Doesn't look like that was their intention from the below

Great job GM & his dedicated team - who I understand will be working through the Christmas break.

We have all been scrutinising every word on here and other sources as to what the future holds - I have re-visited the RNS on R&D 16th Nov and if you do one thing today I would ask you to do the same as I have now read more into the message that it is giving than I did from the first read - please read more than once and pull out some very keywords and statements than may further give you some of the answers/reassurance we have all been seeking. Really digest the detail - Let me know your thoughts?

Just some of the key areas:
Novacyt's near-term focus remains to deliver strong organic revenue growth - Novacyt expects to leverage its reputation, market intelligence and relationships developed during the COVID-19 response to commercialise new products, as well as expand its presence in respiratory and transplant clinical diagnostics, to continue to meet significant unmet market needs.

The interim review analysed over 4,000 samples from care home residents and staff, with 98% of the samples using Novacyt's NPT system processed and reported in the same day. The clinical accuracy of Novacyt's NPT system was found to have >99% clinical sensitivity and specificity when compared to a standard central laboratory system. These data demonstrate the reliability and accuracy of Novacyt's NPT system. In addition, mid-nose nasal swabs were found to be effective and well tolerated compared to the more invasive nasopharyngeal swabs.
