We all ride the spike tomorrow to the top which I am hoping for at least £20-£21 on positive momentum/sentiment by next week based on the improved outlook and cracking results from the trading update tomorrow. I'm in no mood for the fall should results be more disappointing than predicted.

Best of luck gents! I hope we'll be smiling tomorrow and the days after with a 20%+ return if we bought in the last couple weeks. I've seen this quite often. A bumper 5-8% increase in SP in prior days to the update usually is a positive sign

I went through an ungoldy amount of articles relating to copper forecasts and most big banks and analysts had a forecast of $13,000 to $13,500 for copper in 2027. We're already there and its Jan 2026.

I just hope if we do breach and eventually reach the $14,000 to $15,000, JLP will be producing meaniful copper including the LWP. If we like the costs involved then we'll see days where it'll be impossible to turn off our smiles gentlemen.

And if the resources we've bought eventually show how much they're worth given copper highs, then WOWZA!!!!!!

Out of interest, since Greggs teamed up with Tesco on selling their sausage rolls and steak bakes since September (in about 800 Tescos throughout the UK) I wonder if this has considerably driven up sales volumes for frozen products or may take time. But again sainsburys and asda do not have that partnership so its a plus for greggs and tesco!

Great take on the SP movement Rich. Maybe they trying to scare the investors into panic selling on morning trade or just so they could buy the low prices one last time before life off on Thursday/Friday. As most have mentioned here, if Greggs gives a better than expected trading update, we can see £20+. Greggs is quite volatile on news and updates but stable on general trading days and so a 10-15% rise on good news is to be expected just as we saw those 10% and 20% drops on days with poorer results than expected. Hoping billy's (BRV) crystal ball forecast holds lol and we see £23 sooner than expected. Hell, I'll drive to his place and give him a lap dance lol

Rich62 lets hope results get knocked out the park with a fantastic update. If not, I might just end up in a coma lol

Billyrvalentine. Are you implying £19 with the trading update or before then? I'd say maybe £19 and above on trading update day and maybe £20 to close the week

LUFC, with the LWP we can manage tbe 15k+, but at this stage we do not know when that will come online.

I think we are now consolidating around this high 16s and lows 17s.

In the Half year update, "The Board expects first half operating profit to be lower than H1 2024, reflecting the stronger comparative trading performance in H1 2024 and the phasing of refurbishments and cost recovery initiatives across the current year. For the full year, our cost inflation outlook remains unchanged and planned cost mitigation measures are expected to enhance second half performance. "

This was back in July when the share price was trading in the same region of 16s/17s when it fell from the 19/20 range based on poorer than expected H1 2025 performance.

Inflation outlook has marginally improved as of the Q3 update. If there is good sales growth and the cost mitigation measure come in effect as the board has mentioned then expect some upward trajectory. Market is measuring greggs performance against what is now targeted. We won't jump back to 2024 share prices in the short term but the next trading update is vital to determine the direction from next week until preliminary results in March. With improved trading in Aug and Sep in 2025, i trust that this continued in the Oct-Dec period as other retailers are showing improved signs already, then Greggs is in a solid position for an upswing.

The fact that furniture companies have increased sales in a market where property growth is not so great shows that spending power was high in the last quarter.

Lidl which is the budget friendly super market, had a record sale phase. I think this will really play in Gregg's favour. Expecting Q4 results to be spectacular so feeling a bit more bullish thanks for sharing Rich62.

Little anecdote: on 30 December before new years, I was going to the train station and walked past a high street. A couple of shops were open but emptym only shop open with reasonable number of customers was Greggs at 6 am. So like others have said, shops with the refurbishment have been buoyant and the Tesco must surely have made some impact.

Hoping to see 19+ after trading update

Seis my friend. Lets just say i left my previous job and withdrew my retirement funds. I've done a bit of investing in other stocks and using all their profits to pump in this. Should this go to zero, I'll pretty much have to start from scratch.

Very non-risk averse of me but I suppose i'll reasses in the next 2 to 3 months and will buy in batches.

If we get to peoduced guidance from molefe and low grade and roan upgrades, Harmprof, I can tell you this share will triple by end of 2026.

Good 20% increase this week in SP. I wonder if it's anticipation of the good copper production for Q2. I remember Q1 had a similar rise and then the 934 tons quartely production kind of blew down the price.

The only thing that could have impacted the production is the rain season. If it was heavy in Q2 then the production may not be what we would like to see and we'll see another big drop. But that will be the last big drop and will be the last chance to accumulate anything before shooting to the moon. The share price will be in a different realm from March/April (after Q3 updates) onwards after some molefe results, LWP news, and stable numbers from Roan + Sable come about.

I intend to make my final top ups in the next 2 to 3 months before then and plan to hold about 5 million shares... yes I'm crazy. But risk it for the biscuit.

If anything a platinum surplus is forecast for 2026. Not significant but marginal. So that may weigh prices down

From my pov, the H1 2025 net profit was 14% lower than H1 2024 as of lower investment income. (And operational profit was 7% lower)

I suspect, market expectations are that if the current years profits are lower but the 14% lower net profit and 7% lower operation profit is reduced, then thats better than expected.

We've had a snippet that cost inflation is marginally improved from Q3 update and I doubt tesco partenrship would really bump up sales so quickly but I think it may have contriubted in a good way in Q4. I believe we'll be in a better position compared to H1. Probably lower than 2024 results but better than 2025H1 where the price was bouncing between 19 and 21. So i hope we go back to those levels in Jan. Long term, I'd say this is definitely a stock that could go to £26+ but im impatient and tend deal on a month to month basis lol.

They could also include a caveat on the 2026 Derby project coming online and further saving costs that could propel this.

Monster buy for £2m at close. Wow! I see a big move next week on the 7th,8th and 9th Jan. Lets just hope the move is upwards. Feeling fairly bullish based on the Q3 update.

Everytime i saw pgms go up, I'd getting subconsciously depressed lol as Jubilee SP was not moving after the sale announcement which is why over Oct to Dec i was invested heavily in PGM companies in South Africa and made a good amount as I exited my positions just last week!

No im rooting for pgms to fall more lol so i dont feel bad that Jubilee is not a part of that wagon anymore.

Cheeky. It's a retailer called Woolworths on the JSE. They are bouncing low and expecting good results in the following quarter so want to get in there for a bump as well.

But right now im shocked. What is going on with Greggs! Why such a drop. We should be over £17 and heading to £18 now. Trading update only 1 week away! Was hoping to see £20-£21 on the update day

Beautiful work Seis. Based on upcoming information related to the Molefe low grade material that will comission in next FY Q1, if the 4,000 Leon claims is true then looks like our copper revenue will be flying further!

Your numbers are conservative and I like that because any uptick in copper prices and or production from Molefe low grade adds to the pie!

Its quite sensitive to the margin and especially the PE ratio. I expect the margin and PE to both improve the following year! If we can even get to 30%+ on the margin and a PE of 13-14 as production increases further then hallelujah! Add in 3p to 5p ontop for the PGM sale and inflows and we should be at least a 7-8x from current prices
