I would expect Premier to go for some form of commercial restitution.

As announced on 24 June 2022, Premier accepted a proposal and a quotation to design, supply, and deliver to Zulu and to assemble and commission a plant at an additional charge, that was to meet certain specific design and throughput specifications ("Zulu Plant Performance"). The plant was expected to produce Spodumene concentrate at 6% Li20 from March 2023. The plant had not met the specific design and throughput specifications a year after the original target completion date. Material reasons have been set out in previous announcements. Accordingly, Premier has requested that Stark demobilise and leave Zulu immediately, and Stark has agreed and done so.

Stark and Premier will continue to engage on the final terms and conditions of any separation and on how best to move forward; however, at this time, there is a dispute between Stark and Premier about the Zulu Plant Performance. Premier fully reserves its rights in this regard.

Listen to the interview at c7.50 where George suggests that, in his opinion, Stark knowingly supplied a sorter to the Zulu plant that was not fit for purpose.

That is a very damming statement to put out into a public forum.

I agree that spodumene prices will exceed $1000 per tonne. IMO, speculation will continue to fuel the rise up to 30 September.

Should the other mines close, the price will likely accelerate further; however, other factors will also come into play.

The article gives, IMO, a very balanced view of the situation, bringing the matter back down to the fundamentals of supply and demand.

My target for Prem is early Q2, sustained levels of production on an upward trend, coupled with two-tier grading.

Keen to see the expenditure on further leases and exploitation of EPO.

The company must use the remainder of the year to clear up the bloody mess, both financially and on the Lego set.

Impossible to say, there are so many variables that could come into play, progress on testing, or not, raising finance, JV on Tantalum.

Each has the potential to move SP one way or another.
