I think this webinar is a big mistake on many fronts.
I don't believe the CEO has the backing of the majority of the shareholders, he has been a very naughty boy.
A few years ago there was a campaign to get George out, it failed however I am not so sure he would sit so safe now.
I acknowledge that the man has done well to get the plant built however misleading[being polite] shareholders time and time again is wholly unacceptable.
He has during his interviews cascaded information that he knew jolly well was not true, he misled shareholders into believing all was on track for early production, and not until the 11th hour did he admit the project was running out of cash.
Had he admitted the problems in the RNS's then, for my part, all would have been well.
It's a big project, delays can and do occur, and it would be burning cash like confetti--just be honest with shareholders.
Prem does need George Roach, I would vote in favour of keeping him however please George go "upstairs" and urgently find a CEO replacement who can smooth out the PR disaster and bring some confidence back to Prem management.
How and why you made such a bloody mess of all this is beyond me.
