It seems that in recent times a good result leads to drop in the SP. Hope not for tomorrow but if so there’s a 5.5% divi end of April/May. GLA for Tuesday.

@Lee et al. I wonder if the “price sensitive news” that Darren has had to withhold is that even allowing for the cost of new ventures, MTL may be in a position to plan and announce a small dividend payment for 2025/26.

However, whatever the news is to be, a rocket to the SP would be welcome as will the full year results for Runruno due very soon.

Wife and I had reason to go in our local Card shop today. Three cards required - 1 Thank You and 2 Birthday cards. The lady at the till told us that buying three entitled us to an extra card (the cheapest of the four) for free. Don’t know how that works for CARD but it appears too generous.

I quizzed the lady about post-Christmas sales and she said the shop had been busy with people buying the sale items!

@Surrey. If it is any consolation, I and other have been with MTL for 12+ years and through a period when the shares were suspended and the company on the brink of going bust. Through the combination of Nic Candy with the experience and expertise of Darren Bowden the company has been transformed into a cash generating machine. Stick with it and in a few year I think you will be rewarded.
