Proquo, you are correct in saying that due to Gazelle results we are on a free carry and while i fully expect a good result from H2 we can for a second look at where we are if H2 does not deliver commercial oil (sure it will), but if not we use H2 as an injector well to increase reservoir pressure which will increase production at H1 and every other well drilled in the Heron field, H2 as an injector is obviously 2nd choice but long term its win win even as an injector well.

Most investors went into these reworks hoping for commercial (50+ bopd) from H2 and commercial oil (50+ bopd) from Gazelle, looks like Gazelle itself will deliver vastly more than we had hoped for. Happy days.

Hamm, i believe the 150 to 300 million valuation was for the Heron field only so does not include whatever Gazelle & Gobi bring to the table.

Assuming H2 gives good results we can be pretty sure H3 will be drilled equidistant to H1 & H2, if it hits oil great and if not it can be an injector well used to increase reservoir pressure and increase production at H1 & H2.

H2, beam pump installed and started pumping 640 barrels of injected fluids out of the well on 6th October, these injected fluids should take a maximum of 6 days to remove so we should be pumping oil out, I would expect the H2 result this week, initially I had expected circa 85 bopd maximum from H2 but now not so sure, MB elected to run the production tubing and surface wellhead equipment so I am hopeful of a better than expected result from H2.

TenBagTag, for clarification, the producing wells continue producing througout winter, no rigs involved, simply wellheads and heated storage tanks, winterized rigs are rigs that are capable of drilling throughout winter, as far as i am aware these have never been used in Mongolia though MB did mention these during the investor presentation June/July last year.

So there is no interuption to production through the winter months, but there is no drilling /exploration during the winter months (mid November to mid March/ weather dependent).

H1 has been on production almost a year, i estimate the 30% funds being withheld by PC amount to around $800,000.

This is why Mongolia need the refinery and MATADs oil to supply the refinery.

9th Oct RNS: Gazelle results (well unstimulated).

Choke 1/8” As per RNS 160 bopd.

Choke 3/16”” As per RNS 300 bopd.

Choke ¼” As per RNS 460 bopd.

Also note worthy is the fact Gazelle is producing with gas pressure, no beam pump needed.

Gazelle is being completed and put into production.

Worth remembering this is a different reservoir to the Heron wells, and an up dip 45 m sands already identified for a side track drill, beauty is Gazelle is shallower than Heron wells, the up dip is estimated to have 5 million barrels of oil, at 500 bopd that will last almost 27 years.
