@Vereran10 There is literally nothing wrong with this situation and nothing unexpected so I don’t really understand why you are getting all punchy? Why do you think what I’m saying is a “subtle deramp” rather than common sense? What indicators are you seeing that points to this going nuts in the coming days or weeks? Don’t get me wrong, I’d be as delighted as the next person if it did, it wouldn’t be life changing for me but a nice return, it’s just difficult to see where that’s coming from right now.

I’m not selling a bean here, as if it plays out towards November then it could be a great return. I’m holding what I bought in Dec, and will start to add further around end of Feb beginning of March if things continue to go like this. We actually know a date where things will be sorted by, one way or another, it makes a change to have that understanding so far out.

I’m flattered you think that I hold that much gravitas here that I can tank the SP of a listed company that holds a significant portion of a Nasdaq listed Company.

Seriously though, since the infamous “update RNS” of Dec’25 where the DCB situation was highlighted in black and white, this was always going to be months not days for any positive SP action. I think most see that. Having unrealistic expectations only leads to frustration, whereas being realistic makes for a more comfortable investment. Nobody here “ramps” or “deramps” to my knowledge, it’s actually a good board I reckon.

A few months is nothing in the grand scheme of things, holding and taking a few really cheap ones is relatively risk free with what we know here imo. It’s quite a simple investment, very few moving parts.

@JPP8788 your post at 0902, couldn’t agree more, that is a highly likely scenario imo, the difference from my pov is that it’ll go all the way to May before we find out anything DCB-wise.

@HarChris your post at 1047, as I believe you are alluding to, that scenario would be pretty unusual I think, there wouldn’t seem much benefit to anyone out of it. As you suggest, an extension in May more likely.

I think this bb becoming a little more realistic now in terms of price targets and timeframes which is good to read. These prices are cheap, and I do think they’ll keep getting cheaper for a while yet👍🏻.

I think it’s in reference to this paragraph. I think much like Hawk, any new investor is likely going to want to watch WSHPs performance for a while, the SP hasn’t shown much stability at any level higher or lower yet. At least the volume is starting to creep up a little bit there now.

Agreed 100% Wall23, it’s a waiting game. I do think that in the interests of realism, people need to be thinking closer to May. The price will prob drop more before then, but that’s ok, no other news matters right now so it’ll prob go quiet, that’s ok as well.

With Wshp performing well, and finance here at Wcap sorted, then the excitement ramps up and it’ll be good to watch.

That’s a bit of a throw away line from them I think Vet. There is nothing of real substance in that report, so this drop is inevitable. But that’s not a bad thing, there’s not been bad news, just no news.

I think an inevitable drop to be honest. No news in the report and no sense of being any closer to any DCB news than they were back at the beginning of December.

I don’t doubt their desire to sort it asap, I just don’t see why it would be such a priority for Hawk to do anything this far out from the end of the existing arrangement. Why would they?

That narrative re the DCB is virtually a copy/paste of the Dec update-

Discounted Capital Bond ("DCB")

The Company has one major liability in the DCB. This has been in place since August 2020. Given the lock up on the WeShop shares detailed above, the Company will not be able to repay the DCB, that at the maturity date of 24 May 2026 will amount to £6,965,000. The Company is therefore considering other options to address the DCB. The Company recognises the significant importance of the DCB liability, and discharging the DCB will allow the Company to unlock potential value for WeCap shareholders. The current priority for the Company is engaging with the DCB holder to find a solution that unlocks the highest possible value for WeCap shareholders.

As expected, nothing much in the interims, most of it a copy/paste from the update we got from them in Dec.

As much as I hope it happens, I think a little caution needs to be exercised regarding getting the excitement levels up re the DCB extension. It’s a good few months until the existing extension ends, I wouldn’t be surprised if nothing is mentioned. But you never know I guess.

I believe they will also as long as WSHP progresses along. It’s a case of when they might be agreeable to considering it?

One thing’s for sure, if it does run close to May, this will be a total bargain, as if it isn’t already.

True to a certain point HC, Hawk holds the key to releasing the current handcuffs on the SP, but for a nice early extension agreement then WSHP needs to do its thing in the meantime imo.

The last extension wasn’t announced until the day after the previous one expired. There’s form for a late shout.

All that said, the sooner the better in an ideal world!

Nothing is likely to happen here until we know about the DCB extension. This is just drift, there’s been no bad news, there’s just no interest right now.

WSHP slowly finding its feet but on the tiniest of volume, so hopefully there is some decent PR planned over there.

Ideally WSHP is well up by the time the extension is sorted and then we see what this can do. We know it needs to be announced by 25 May, so may well require much patience, let’s see.

Yes the options at 3p are good but I’d like to see a higher SP than that. I think the fundamentals are very sound, time is the factor. I don’t get the impression anyone here is particularly fussed how long it takes for the announcement we are waiting for, it has to be by 25 May.
