Exactly why all these nonsense rumours and bs spikes are so dangerous….they damage confidence, and this has already had its fair share in its infancy.

Hopefully we enjoy a settled period after this with no X or Reddit rumours, and just allow the thing to grow naturally. We know the timeframe for WeCap, and WSHP needs to be left to build steadily as it has been. No more spikes!

Not great for investor confidence when these spikes on nonsense occur. We know exactly what needs to happen to get things moving here, and good idea of the timeframe.

A nice uptick in volume today. Why? Who knows, but a new benchmark to build from hopefully. Wshp def seems to be heading in the right direction.👍🏻

I’ve had a look but alas no, no sign of it.

I’ll wait for the RNS tomorrow if a deal has indeed been agreed, at least that’s concrete then.

We’ve had the “leaky” narrative before here and it turned out to be rubbish, so it’s worth managing expectations in absence of any news.

That being said, IF a deal has been done re the DCB I am more than happy to be wrong, at any point!😁

Genuinely though I don’t think anything’s unexpected at this stage. New Nasdaq listed Company finding its feet, investment company with a long known finance deadline that needs resolving. Nothing has snuck up on us here, we just need to be realistic on timeframes.

Correct, at their discretion. I would imagine that if it’s the kind of news that’s going to “lift the roof” then it’ll be sooner rather than later. But whatever, I’m happy to wait and see either way, it’s evident they are committed to building this at reasonable speed given the regular announcements we are getting👍🏻

Yeah, SP guessing is utterly pointless, especially with a company who’s 3 months listed and another company whose future finance won’t be announced until closer to May time (imo). It’s just chucking numbers about… “what if this? what if that?”

I know it’s boring right now, but this was not unexpected.

Hawk would’ve known about this situation for a long time. Wshp shares lock up not a surprise on the Nasdaq listing, DCB expiry date known since previous rollover, the value of the Wecap holding both directly and indirectly currently much greater than the loan amount.

I understand the fact there is no rush for Hawk to enter a new arrangement this early, no need, there’s months left to run on then existing one. It would be a very strange move on their behalf not to extend, doesn’t help them at all.

Yeah I get that the potential is fantastic, but to unlock it, in a market the size of the U.S. takes time and a lot of good PR. As CLSK alludes to, social media provides a cost effective foot in the door, but to go big time, they need to be shoving this in the face of everyone, so at some point they need to start turning the wick up on the marketing.

All these Companies you talk of are giants and have taken years of marketing, growth and reputation generation to get to where they are now.

Wshp is less than 3 months listed, in its infancy, and whilst I really like the model, let’s be realistic, it’s going to take to time and work to get it to that place where it’s everyones one stop shop for everything.

It’s important that expectations remain realistic in terms of timeframe, otherwise we have to endure wave after wave of emotional diatribe when it doesn’t immediately rocket…..imo.

The debt is not a “sting in the tail”, it’s a known entity and has been for a very long time. The existing arrangement is in place until 24th May, we will know what happens next by that date. The previous extension didn’t get announced until the day after the expiry, so I’m not expecting much until then. If they are genuinely engaging with other finance companies then great, but again I wouldn’t imagine those companies would be in a rush to sign on the line either given the time left to run on the existing one.

Just need to be patient with this one.

What people “can or can’t see” when it comes to the share price is wasted breath really, pure speculation. There is far too little info in the public domain to make a reasonable shout as to what the share price should be here or over at wshp right now. As far as I’m aware, wshp are obliged to file a quarterly report on Nasdaq so that might tell us something, whether that info has an impact here prior to DCB clarity is very doubtful in my opinion, but you never know.

Nothing is broken here, it’s just drift as we plod through the next few months towards May.

Some of the reviews do make you laugh when you read them. The total lack of understanding displayed by some of those writing them is off the charts. I suppose that’s the danger when offering something like this to the public, everyone wants something for nothing, and want it paid out yesterday.

Volume on wshp nicely into the 20k+ again today, it’s not huge for Nasdaq, but definitely consistently higher….

Volume is key in the early days. I’ll be more excited to see that side of things build up first. There’s nothing much to glean from the SP alone less than 3 months into its listing (all in my opinion of course).

Yes, some people’s expectation timeframes need expanding somewhat. It’s likely to take a little time imo.
