This is really bad news, especially if it's a different strain from ****ney Covid.
It looks like the bug's rapidly mutating and if it can evade the vax (like all the other coronaviruses that we could never get a vaccine for?), we are all pretty much doomed. The economies are going to go to sh.t pretty quickly and we'll be unemployed, queuing at soup kitchens this time next year. Also, getting access to even basic healthcare is already problematic.
It's one thing to be sceptical about a rushed vaccine, especially when the vax rollout timing is interfering with your retirement plans, but if we can't find an effective vax in the long run, we're all buggered.

They didn't make it worse - they were just not as good as placebo.
There's a reason they include Placebo in every trial against every illness!

Placebo hasn't done as well as SNG001 in phase 2, but it still done better than plasma and oleandrin, so makes sense to continue testing it to see if it cures covid.
