Look at the cross-section drawing - All the high grades at the new depths are in the HAD006 region.

HAD011 has taken a similar route to HAD009 and hit similar grades but further north - now look at the end of HAD011 where it says we are awaiting assays - If the results of those assays show more high grade out there then this will be even "MORE HUGER" - I know it's not good English but who cares.

Did you read the Sprott research note on Havieron Serge

The Telfer analogy is
encouraging for Havieron for another reason; the highly variable grades, a result of structural
complexity, mean that we should not expect every hole to hit, and that some of the unsuccessful stepouts
at Havieron are simply misses and not in fact delineating the edges of mineralization.

Also interesting that we only have results from the extension hole and 2 new holes so there must be other cores that are at the labs being assayed as we speak. In fact HAD011 is only partially reported - if you look at the cross section it says that they are awaiting assays from 908.3metres.
Interesting that Newcrest have issued this detail in the quarterly even without the complete assay for HAD011 - what games could be afoot here?

Probably right HAT so we are hoping for drilling continuing, encouraging, other words to those effects.

When do you guys think the farm-in first period would have started? Would it have been from the date that it was announced? If so then we are more than one third of the way into that 12 months. How much do we think NC will have spent in total on this first campaign?
If they were to continue some of the GGP holes to check at depth as offered by Reddirt this morning, then perhaps it may work out not to be as costly as anticipated and wouldn't be likely to hit the required $10million spend.

If the results from this first campaign are “encouraging” then they will need to crack on with the second campaign asap to enable them to meet the requirements within the specified timeframe.

Not long to wait one way or the other - right now it's cooled off a bit time to take the dog out for her constitutional.

To be fair mate he did say in one of the recent videos that Newcrest were drilling 24/7 and they would hopefully have a lot more to say about Havieron in the near future (just from memory so might not be word perfect).

He can't really say much more until the assays come in.

Well - must admit I didn't see that coming - I managed to sell some PMO this afternoon and got 224,832 more tucked away in the wife's SIPP @ 1.779p.
I hope I won't regret it tomorrow.

$20 million actually after they fulfill stage2 - then they get 40% - if they go to stage2 then the assays are irrelevant.

Funkateer posted this on the 9th July - Also Newcrest did mention the Havieron farm-in in the exploration section of their last report in March. There will be some mention one way or the other but it may not be the detailed report that we are hoping for.

I think it's fair to say that we are unlikely to see any release today now although I didn't really expect to see anything until after Newcrest's report tomorrow/tonight.
I wonder how much actual detail the presentation will actually report (provided they have the assay results) or will that detail be left to GGP to report?

It'll be interesting to see if there is much action this afternoon or is everybody positioned as they want to be and the "HOT" money is waiting for the confirmation before being committed.

Today you just said that you feel it in your waters that cores are good - can I assume from this that you (or someone you trust) had an actual visual of the core(s) earlier and the hunch that you now have is that the assays will confirm the visuals?

Make sense to do that Reddirt - I would have thought that would have been GGP's strategy if they were to return as originally planned. Here's a paragraph from the Sprott research note about the potential of the depth -

"At depth, mineralization is open as several holes ended in mineralization at ~710-876m estimated
vertical depths (holes 6, 7, 9). Hole five finished in weakly mineralized calcareous sandstone host at
~772m vertical depth, but as breaks in grade are observed higher up and common for Telfer-style
mineralization, we do not think this closes the system at depth. Holes 1 and 8 were stopped in the
younger intrusive, also not a lower limit on mineralization. Subtracting the ~400m of younger cover
above, we thus conclude that drilling has demonstrated ~400m of vertical extent so far, with excellent
potential below that. Recently completed 3D modelling of the marked magnetic and gravity anomalies
at Havieron indicates that the system could extend well beyond 1,200m vertical depth."
