I know I posted this info a while back but look who has got government funding to be drilling the Budgiedowns license which is in the RIO ground between us and the new targets in the Paterson Range East.

You won't be able to move in that area soon for drill rigs and surveys.

IF we get the right results from Havieron the whole area is going to explode IMHO.

If that were to happen HAT do you think there would be some sort of tie up between RIO and Newcrest - would Telfer be able to handle all the ore that would be produced in the region or would RIO go it alone and construct a completely new processing plant?

It's going to be an interesting few months either way - Come on GH - give us a nibble before the Newcrest update.....

I see that gold is back up to $1,420 this evening after the Fed didn't rule out a rate cut by month's end.

Be interesting to see where it gets to over the next few weeks.

Just reading back through some of the RNS releases from Black Hills and a question for some of the more mining experienced people / geos.

GGP reported finding high levels of silver in many of the rock chip samples that they surveyed from the Saddle Reefs area - If the gold at surface is found to be co-incident with the 3DIP anomaly (fingers crossed) then would it follow that the anomaly would be rich in silver also?

"Gold results include 81.7g/t, 45.7g/t, 37.6g/t, 33.9g/t, 28.2g/t, 23.5g/t, 19.6g/t, 17.5g/t, 14.1g/t, 13.0g/t, 12.4g/t, 8.7g/t and 7.3g/t. Many also showed high silver including 106.1g/t, 89.0g/t, 38.2g/t, 28.2g/t, 20.4g/t, 14.9g/t, 14.6g/t, 13.88g/t, 13.0g/t, 12.8g/t, 11.3g/t 10.9g/t and 10.4g/t. Importantly, gold (and silver) mineralisation in bedrock has now been identified over a strike length of approximately 800m at Saddle Reefs."

Copper as a secondary product at Havieron and Silver at Black Hills - would make the ore that more valuable !!!!!!

When we have had other trading days like this - we find out after the event that big orders are being filled......

Had this with HAT over the last few weeks would the fair market value relate to the price of gold in the ground or at that point would it relate to the profit that would be gained from the sale at the market value of gold at that time seeing as that point the feasibility study would be complete and we would know that the Oz's we're there.

It could be a substantial amount more in the second scenario.

That would be my guess too - presuming that's what we have had to wait until early July to stay at Black Hills.

No idea on Hav drilling but assuming they are testing around Hav001 - 005 area to depth with at least a few drills. Be interesting to see then if they do big step out drills to test the extremities.
If they do and we get decent results then it's really game on.

If we get a Black Hills started then we could probably assume that means Hav will be pretty much complete

Just got in from the drive home. I remember reading about that find with RNC minerals but I thought that was further south near our Bromus license in the Esperance Goldfields area.
