In the (29 November 2019) Mineral Resource Estimate at the Tantalite Valley Mine, taking the "Homestead" and "Purple Haze" areas at TVM together, in 308,700 Tonnes of Resource, the estimated minerals were:

110 Tonnes of Ta2 05 equivalent (=356 ppm) and,

1,996 Tonnes of Li2 O equivalent (=6,465 ppm)

I think that's about 60/40 Ta/Li in value terms.

Tantalum is rare in nature and usually found with other metals, (e.g. Lithium, Tin or Niobium). Whilst Tantalum metal is the most valuable (per kg) by some margin the "by product" may well provide more revenue.

If I'm reading that correctly, it seems to imply that only part of the Bear ore is DRI grade (the bit with only 1.1% silica), the rest is Blast Furnace concentrate. This perhaps not surprising as ZIOC has both Haematite and Magnetite, ore's (although fortunately most of it is DRI Grade).

I think it would be obvious that a) the Graphite mine and b) the SPG plant are separate projects and will have separate NPV calculations. I suspect that we might not get the NPV (or the DFS) for project b) at this point.

Thanks to Oultonmike, I put some money in yesterday ! I'm happy to own a few more shares at 1.5p with the free warrants (my average price so far is 1.55p). It is good that we are treated the same as the buyers in the £1.3 million raise of 10 November. Usually PI's are offered shares, but not the free warrants.

The known, unknown in the DFS is what value they will assume for the Graphite produced. At the PFS stage this would have been based upon general market based numbers. Given their contact with customers / off-take buyers etc. they might be more bullish about obtaining premium prices ?

IMHO It's important to not loose sight of the purpose of the JORC Reserve - its all about securing funding. So its value (NPV) is related to what can be borrowed etc. If WE want to value the project or the entire company, we can reasonably assume that there is sufficient Graphite there for 21 years (or even 30 years) and come up with a much, much higher valuation.

JORC consists of 2 things Resource and Reserves. Resource is what material in there, Reserve is what you can recover given the mining plan.

So, the additional 192 holes will increase the JORC Resource initially, and following additional infill drilling (planned for 2026) they will later increase the Reserves.

Until the legal process is completed KZG won't be able to progress with Aftan. I very much doubt they will get anything other than control of Aftan (technically they own Aftan, but cant do anything with it yet). They original sold Aftan (as a working mine) for approx $13 million, and the payment due under the award with interest to date comes to about $13 million. However, the mine maybe far from working order and may need substantial....

Sounds more like KZG will run the mine (with the help of partners), rather than selling outright. Certainly good news that the project is moving forward.

The brokers provide advice and capital raising. EMM would need help if it were considering selling the company, or selling the Khemisset project. That might follow if there is an agreed settlement with Morocco. IMHO both sides would prefer a settlement of this, it remains to be seen if they can agree on a value.

There are many PI's who will buy anything if there is a plausible narrative, and the share price is trending upwards (say 10% a day).

I hope not EEE rapidly went to 80p only to fall back to 30p !

What emerges from the Telegraph article is that 500 Wh/kg (watt hours per kilo) seems to be a key performance target. 500 Wh / kg is about twice the energy density of conventional L-ion batteries. Cost will also be a key consideration.
