Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Fair to say that James is sending out some very post vibes. Would strongly suggest things are going very much to plan.
Happy to sit back and let JC and the team continue to work their magic.
As an aside, that particular tune is shockingly bad IMO 😊
Anyone who knows Tigerbythetail will know he’s a credible individual with a very good understanding of BOD. His comments from ADVFN below…
Radio silence here.
Market-makers willing to buy large quantities of shares for a reasonable price, and not too keen on buyers.
I agree with the posters on LSE - this feels like a deal is in the works...

I don’t disagree. Time will of course tell but I’m invested here for however long it takes and expect a significant return.
There are so many knowledgeable, patient long term holders here for good reason…
Pretty much sums it up huddersfield!
During H2 this year TR could produce absolutely anything including some very special stones. This is what makes BOD so exciting!
Assuming we don’t get bought out in the meantime of course…
Maybe JC is holding out to provide a more ‘complete’ update?
Production figures for the month would be interesting but for me i’d be perfectly happy waiting longer for a more rounded update including TR, Ghagoo and other projects.
Hopefully the below link works. A reminder of how successful Marsfontein was for any current/new investors.
And TR is expected to be twice the size…

Smart move TR
I think some will look back in 12 months time and wish they had invested more. As will all investments, one needs to be comfortable with the size of their position vs risk but when the market works BOD out the SP will be unrecognisable from what it is today.
I wish I could top up but I’m already fully committed here so like many others, am just waiting for the story to unfold.
My hunch is that history will repeat itself i.e. a buy out offer will appear once all ducks are in a row. Very similar to African Diamonds several years back. That was a real success for all parties and whilst reference has been made to TR not being a ‘company maker’, it has been assessed to be TWICE the size of Marsfontein with anticipated high grade stones. Any of the major players out there looking to secure supply for the next X number of years with all the hard work done will surely see BOD as a very, very tempting purchase…

Deffo feels like a private members club sometimes. Not necessarily a bad thing as those in the know are simply holding tight.
Nice to share the journey with the knowledgeable, sensible people on here. Looking forward to the day when we can all pay ourselves on the back for remaining patient and not losing faith.
The article by Capital Power states
‘ The Marsfontein project serves as a precursor to the larger Thorny River project, which is due to enter production during the second quarter of 2023’
Sounds a tad optimistic that the license will be granted and then we go full swing into production at TR within Q2. But I'm guessing they’re quoting information that BOD have provided?
Would be very impressed if production at TR commenced by end of June…
Definitely can’t rush this stuff. To be fair BOD are making pretty steady progress and generating income through Mars is a smart move. Before long the TR license will be issued and, as we well know, there could quite possibly be a Ghagoo update at any time.
I’m already conditioning myself to the idea that, even with all this in place, the SP may not fully reflect fair value. May take diamonds being mined at TR or (more likely) a buy out offer to propel the MC to where it really should be.
Either way, the will continue to hold for gold… er… diamonds! ;)
