Echo.
I echo (!) your sentiments and whilst I’ve not been here as long as some I get where you’re coming from. I’m not running out of patience and am more than happy to watch things unfold.
I don’t think I’d sell for less than 3p. If everything goes to plan I think this could go much higher. I personally think we’ll get an offer on the table at some point during H2 this year…
Evaluating the potential upside vs possible downside makes BOD an excellent investment at this price range. Seeing 5p bantered around a bit which is interesting as FirstEquity valued the company at 6p a share some time back. A bit optimistic back then but as JC and the team start hitting certain key milestones (hopefully hitting a lot of them this year) the 4-6p range suddenly starts to look very possible.
Sorry to regurgitate old news but... from January last year...
'Botswana Diamonds said that following a preliminary assessment of Thorny River’s kimberlite potential, it estimated the asset hosts about 2 million tonnes of kimberlitic material, up from the 1.2 million previously determined.'
“Let me put this in context. The 2 million tonnes is almost twice the size of the nearby Marsfontein deposit,” Chairman John Teeling said in the statement.
Fact is, TR is DOULE the size of Marsfontein and estimated grades are very promising.
Are BOD down playing this a bit? JC is an outright professional and my guess is would rather down play something than exaggerate and under deliver. All part of the excitement :)
Hi Echo.
I think this will truly come into it's own once JC and the team start mining TR. Offers could be on the table ahead of this but they'd have to be significant I guess as BOD look to be passionate to be a full blown miner (over and above what they're currently doing at Marsfontien).
For me, the thing that sticks in my mind is when they pulled 11 diamonds out of the ground when drilling for kimberlitic indicators at TR back in Q1 2021. Correct me if I'm wrong but this was unprecedented. Six holes drilled and 11 diamonds found. All of good commercial quality. It doesn't take many big stones to make BOD's market cap look even more ridiculous.
So for what it's worth I'm waiting to see TR deliver. Not to say I will pull all my shares at that point as I genuinely think BOD has so much more to offer and clearly has a plan to grow.

Simply a no brainer. Been off the radar for far too long.
Said it before, start lifting out those shiny stones and maximise the PR off the back of it and only then will the market start to recognise what BOD is all about!
Thanks Echo.
Useful reminder. Will be great to see BOD actively mining and generating revenue.
JC has been pretty busy on Twitter which is always a positive sign. I hope they have a decent PR plan for 2023 that capitalises on what ought to be key milestones in the growth of the company.
Seems fair.
Often been a bit of a lag on SP action once results are out. Will be holding for a while yet…
Someone made reference to the fact that the SP is what it was at back in 2018.
Take the time to read through every RNS that’s been issued over the last 4 years and tell me this isn’t cheap today at sub-1p !
I believe your top up will be well rewarded. Patience is all it takes.
