Excellent point Echo.
Fortunately I have a bit of experience with losing my nerve on other investments where I should have remained patient and reaped the full rewards. I believe you have to experience these things first hand to ‘feel’ the emotions. Lesson learnt.
BOD is stands out as being somewhat different and whilst I would never claim to have ‘fallen in love with the company’, there is a big part of me that is willing to see this all the way through because it feels like such a positive, exciting company to be a part of.
Previous successes achieved by JC & Co made history (Marsfontein). I truly believe we’re on a similar trajectory and I for one am very happy to remain a part of it ??
I have to say I’m with PaulFG. Really does depend on how things unfolds. If JC and the team fully deliver on their strategy then who knows? Perhaps top slice at 5p and ride the rest?
However you look at it, we’re in for an exciting time regardless. I have a feeling next week could be quite lively…
Agree. Key stage in BODs history as they begin generating revenue. Lots more significant stages to come. Question is will it be license granted on Thorny River, a deal on Ghagoo or perhaps a curve ball that no one was expecting.
At any stage BOD could potentially receive a buy out offer. The macro environment for the diamond market remains strong and prices are forecast to increase due to things such as the Russia conflict and lack of investment in exploration over the years.
Could be a perfect storm for BOD if prices are high as TR comes on line.
A reminder to any new investors, James Campbell and the BOD team have a proven track record. It’s also well worth following JC on Twitter. His updates are excellent and without reading too much into them there are often subtle hints contained within. Most in-subtle of late have been his beaming smile in just about every picture…
Hi Echo.
I’m aware of some of what played out with African Diamonds back in the day but wondered if you could summarise or perhaps point us in the direction of places to carry out our own research?
I know the return to shareholders was significant but not sure how it was distributed. Didn’t want to mention‘history repeating itself’ but based on the success achieved last time one has to wonder…
Agree a nice steady increase leading up to the next RNS feels logical (although appreciate logic doesn’t really apply in these markets). The SP fluctuations are pretty academic on my opinion. A steady stream of positive updates over the next few months combined with the limited number of shares in circulation will see the SP leap to new heights ;)
Remember, so many have been holding a very long time and understand the potential of BOD. I doubt many will be selling early. I know I won’t be.
Hi expart
Just been reading through Rainbow’s RNSs and have to agree that their journey is not entirely dissimilar to what we all hope BOD will experience. A fantastic return for those who held their nerve and ran it towards the top end of it’s value…
I think will be the hardest challenge here. Many have been holding for a long time and have absolute faith in JC and the team.
This is only the beginning so myself, along with several others, will be holding tight as the story unfolds. A decent haul out of Marsfontein, success as forecast as Thorny River and, of course, a deal secured on Ghagoo and BOD suddenly becomes a serious player with a very high chance of buy out offers on the table.
Just need to keep holding in order to reap the full rewards ;)
Just listened to JCs interview with Agnes on Instagram/Twitter. Reiterates the importance of Ghagoo. JC also says ‘when’ and then corrects himself to ‘if/when’ they secure a deal on Ghagoo…
Things could definitely get interesting over the next few months…
