From the £2.20 top a couple of days back (I bailed too early !!), I couldn't resist dipping my toes back in.

There could be a bit more downside I grant you that with the warrants et al,but the press news seems to be gathering more traction and with all these big sporting events in jeopardy and Japan now expressing their worries I think the stock is nearly at its full retrace level from its highs !

Also late last month, Newcrest said it had agreed to sell its 75% interest in the business that operates the Gosowong mine in Indonesia to PT Indotan Halmahera Bangkit for US$90 million. Newcrest said it would recognize an around US$44 million loss on the sale.

Seems to me that their off loading all their non-performers to concentrate on their new project...………...GGP !!!!
