Sales and regulatory update

As of 27 March, Primerdesign has sold and received orders for over £17.8
million (€19.6 million) of its CE-Mark and research use only (RUO) COVID-19
tests. The rate of demand for the test continues to increase, and on 27 March,
Primerdesign received its largest single order to date of £1.4 million
(€1.5 million) from a new customer in India following emergency use approval
of the test on 26 March 2020.



Novacyt is now selling its COVID-19 test to more than 80 countries and the
Middle-East is becoming the strongest selling region, with orders of £1.6m
(€1.8m) received in less than two weeks. The Company expects to sign further
distribution partnerships during the next few weeks in this region and also
expects to update on its progress in the US market following Emergency Use
Authorization granted by the US Food and Drug Administration announced on 23
March 2020.



Novacyt continues to work with a growing number of hospitals in the UK and is
now supplying more than 21 hospitals across the country. The Company also
reports that its COVID-19 test is now being used by the Health Service
Executive in Ireland and orders for £1.1 million (€1.2 million) tests have
been received.

As we all now by now ( I hope ! ) a lot of that nonsense on twitter is just a load of posters just trying to ramp the price for their own gain and Novacyt and PrimerDesign only post on there when there is further company news but I have noticed a new appendage at the bottom of the company's home screen on their website, it says the following :-

Ok so what you may ask, take another look at the last five words of that statement, 'stake holder of the business' !!!

Who is that stake holder of the business as the last time I looked at the company shareholder register it was only Legal & General whom held any meaningful stake and that was for 2m shares.

Bring on those sales figures !!

Sold the remainder of my holding this morning, not too bothered if it trades up from here as I don't think there is too much upside and with the whole of the USA going to shut down this weekend, it could be carnage in the markets first thing on Monday.

Up nearly 5% already and just as a reminder from the RNS a few days back :-

'Yourgene's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Citylabs in Manchester, UK, will be used to expand Novacyt's production capacity of the COVID-19 test. To expedite the process, Yourgene will initially manufacture critical components of the COVID-19 test. The two companies may seek to expand the agreement to include production of final versions of the COVID-19 test in due course. The first batches of the critical components are expected to be shipped from the Citylabs site to Primerdesign in Southampton, UK, over the next few weeks.'

As Blownitalready has alluded to the RNS of the 12th, the last sentence of the statement is also particularly relevant :-

'The purchase of further raw materials and a further scale up of manufacturing capacity is possible under this outsourcing agreement.'

I doubt if anyone picked up the 50p price first thing after the delayed open.

Market seems a bit orderly now, I have left another buy order limit at 49p just in case I can't get back in again on-line.

Can't believe we are talking ITV at 50p but to coin a Love Island phrase, 'it is what it is !'.

Ok, pretty much expected really given the worldwide crisis we're in at the moment.

Lets see what the market wants to do, we know support levels are out of the window in any stock at the moment, its just a question of where it wants to settle.
