Given previous, the rejection today is not unexpected. Se of reasons given were woeful (e.g. can't prove not fracking! Jajaja). Just have to wait for the appeal and should be ok. In the meantime we have biscathorpe. Good chance to pick up some cheap shares now. I'll be topping up a bit tomorrow. GLA

For those wanting access to the I suggest you look through previous threads to find the link and the discussion we had at the time. It was my view then, and is now, that a link was posted for malicious purposes to to and manipulate the share price. Not to be trusted and can be misused

Could've been better with just a straight 'go ahead'. Few more hoops to jump through and frustrating that seems Angus aren't fully on top of this. Antis and those wanting to come in lower will try and make more of this than it merits. Personally, I don't mind the delay. I agree. Think we'll get a boost after opec meeting. I also suspect a few short term traders closing out after the recent news of the farm out. I think we've got a nice steady supply of news coming over the coming months that we'll see nice steady rises. 10-15% per day works for me!! ;-)

I think this deal is positive and will see a turnaround in the share price going forward. I think the response was muted today due to some of the insider shenanigans. FCA really should look into this. Re the deal not sure I agree that it will speed up work - unless means greater security for a scale up. We've had plenty of cash this year and have been painfully slow. Cash doesn't seem to be related to speed of response. Would have been better I think if partner took on actually doing the work. So things could be done in parallel. Not sure. Still think very positive from a strategic perspective. Given we are cash rich anyway does this new cash cover mean the board want to free up current cash for more acquisitions? A share buy back? anyway, a great day and exciting times!

The following is from a workshop on the Surrey earthquakes earlier this year. Conclusion of experts is no link to O&G work. For report look up Steve Hicks on twitter. Academic who helped with the work. Wonder if drill or drop will be reporting these findings..... "The workshop participants concluded that, based on the evidence presented, there was no causal link between the seismic events and oil and gas activity although one participant was less certain and felt that this could only be concluded on “the balance of probabilities” and would have liked to see more detailed data on recent oil and gas surface and subsurface activity. It was agreed that the seismic event epicentres were well-resolved, with depths of 1.5 – 2km, and with some scatter deeper or shallower"

The timing of this could be very interesting. I have my shares in a nominee account and am waiting for a message from them re placement subscribe date(when I have to commit). We then have wressle decision on the 28th. This could end up going in a few directions: a) have to subscribe without knowing outcome of wressle (in which case many may not want to risk it given previous performance after rejections) Or b) the final subscribe date will come after the wressle decision. Positive or negative. If negative, then placing offer might be more than shares worth on the market. Or if wressle is positive then should get a nice bounce and placing could result in nice guaranteed little earner. Any thoughts?

The error in the rns was funny as I'm sure they started forward selling the placement shares immediately on date of announcement. Took quite a while to clear the 3m from Bergen. Think a couple of months and meant the share price reaction to the Balcome result was muted. We only really saw a rise after Bergen was out. We have 2m this time at higher price and greater volume so think will take less time to clear. I suspect we'll have a couple of weeks of sidewards movement in share price into mid December, then should get a nice bounce at some point later. Good chance to top up over the coming weeks.

Hi, Anyone have access to monthly volume figures or know where I can get them? Trying to (crudely) estimate RH exit date. I really do think this is the major reason for current share price (combined with shorters and other manipulation). RH sold 10m in 6 weeks from 20th July to 6th Sept. On same volume would be out by mid Jan. I suspect with recent news there will have been more volume, so could be expected to be out sooner. I think with volume figures might be able to male a crude estimate. Might be way off on this one so would welcome input and happy for criticism! As background, I'm also invested in Angus. They did a placing to Bergen earlier in the year and despite great news (Balcome) share price was woeful.. When Bergen finally exited the share price doubled. I think similar could happen with AMER. anyway, would love to get input on this one (and apologies for Long, long, long-term holders - I know this topic been done to death already!) Cheers

Jajaja. A final goodbye to **** off the board! RH got to be gone in the next week or two surely. As I say below monthly reporting of figures makes no sense to me - especially on AIM and in a context like Colombia. Just asking for trouble. Figures need interpretation and can be used for manipulation. For my own amusement and cos I'm bored - some futher wild speculation. A) RH. Final send off to irritate the board as you say B) one of the board or other Amerisur staff to irritate RH and make a quick buck C) some other industry insider who is aware of the existence of these docs D) An internal Amerisur staff irritated with management and wants to get rid of them E) An eagle eyed ace investigative reporter doing us all a favour fighting a good fight against bad corporate governance! F) Competitor aiming to send share price down for a cheaper bid G) David long-term, irritated investor, on a big loss who took time to Google one night with bottle of red and got lucky. In anycase here's hoping SP holds tomorrow and Indico hits 20k!
