Wasnt actually referring to you mate (although you do for the bill!). No massive after hours trades, not enough scaremongering (or reference to random websites or reports today). Therefore I suspect no rns tomorrow.
Can usually tell when we're due an rns by a). New random posters who claim they are LTHs either scaremongering or doubting in some way; and b) a massive after hours buy Watch this space!
30% resources increase and now a broker upgrade and........... nothing. Shocking. If Calao doesn't come in after those tweets this morning some serious questions need asking.
Calao-1 is just one drill in a multi drill campaign. Even if not much oil they'll learn a lot to help with the overall play. However, if comes in good, or very good, will give us an excellent foundation for the rest of the year. Basically, if dry just a delay whereas if a gusher I expect it to really push us forwards.
The tweet is a bit random. It's either delay from last year or something new in the pipeline (excuse the pun).
Nice to see us heading in the right direction at long last. Been a painful year but happy I held on to these I too think the focus of the new presentation is significant. May not indicate a done deal, but shows they're confident and also not ignoring the wider portfolio.
Think unlikely we'll get an rns at TD. For indico we only got the RNS because there was some for of leak to the media. I think news will come week after next at the earliest.
The ANH Colombia have released news of new competitive bidding process for some onshore and offshore blocks. Details at bottom . Courtesy of hydrocarbonscolombia.com. Also seems the aim26 page of the Amer website updated today so might have changed intuitional holders. I didn't keep previous so not sure of changes...assume some of these are nominee. Odd that would not get RNS re put8 and GT. Hoping this implies there's one in the pipeline on some other news and they intend to combine them. Seems a material development to me.
I understand the pad is near Cabuyaro, Meta. Does anyone have, or know where I can get, more detailed location details. Cheers
Think someone did something similar a while ago. Thought would be useful to do again. What near term events (3-4 months) could impact share price. 1). Calao results 2). News re second rig (any indication of scale up). 3). End of year resources update / end of year results / AGM 4). News re sending third-party oil through the OBA. 5) Anything re Ecuador 6) Spud on Pavo Real (and poss results) 7) start of infrastructure works for next Putamayo drill. 8) any update from Vetra (unlikely!) 9) update on Pintadillo Any peer drills happening that might have a read across?? Suppose also general macro events (China trade/OPEC) in background and improving oil price
Think most are in agreement that CPO5 warrants a step up in activity. I think JW has thought this for s while. He mentions in last year's AGM presentation that AMER might seek operatorship of CPO5 once the recent round of drilling is done (at that stage was 3 wells - indico, Sol, águila). He also mentions in recent interviews that the cash position enables us to 'push' things forward. Not sure what this means when we are the minority partner. Anyway, hope the do find a way to pick up the pace.
*move forward
Thanks for the update bbn. I think this adds more weight to the need to really nice forward with an aggressive multo-rig drilling programme. If ongc can't do this alone, I'd personally like to see the block divided so Amerisur can be operator on some of the targets.
*prove
Yep, that's the implication. Mindboggling. Need to get drilling though and price up these prospects!
Just reviewing the investor presentation again from the Amerisur website. I can understand why JW says the market not appreciating the potential. The presentation highlights 15 prospects around indico and to the north east towards llanos34. Then there are more identified in south east of the block. If these come in similar to indico/Mariposa our NET share could be getting on for 25-30kbopd. Impossible not to get excited on reading this presentation. Need to get some extra rigs on there and make it happen. Report is here.. http://www.amerisurresources.com/images/rns-pdfs/Investor-Presentation-Feb-2019.pdf
Very upbeat article on proactive. Thanks for sharing. For others the link below. Very interesting quote re other comply companies with similar assets turning down $2bn USD offers. Does highlight how undervalued we are. If things go well could, in theory at least, go up 4-5 times current market cap. https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/214473/amerisur-in-right-place-at-right-time-in-colombia-214473.html
