It is only in the last week that Google Finance have given REDS its correct full name and amended their description of the Company and what it does to the following: "RedstoneConnect Plc, formerly Coms Plc, is engaged in providing technology and services for smart buildings and commercial spaces through its core businesses, Redstone and Connect IB. The Company, through Redstone, provides a range of services, including design, build and installation; managed services, and software solutions. The managed services encompasses the provision of outsourcing services spanning network infrastructure management, smart buildings support services, desktop and data center support services and move, add and change services. Redstone offers OneSpace occupancy management product. The Company, through Connect IB, creates digital solutions. Connect IB develops and deploys applications, including those that address mapping and way finding of Smart Buildings and Smart Spaces, such as car parks or retail shopping centers. It serves customers of all sizes, including corporations, such as property developers, landlords and principal occupiers of commercial property".

For me the RNS confirms that the Company now has a solid foundation from which to build. This is made up of a solid business model, a CEO and BoD that are working well as a team and are focussed, competent and are trustworthy . Financial prudence is also now a key theme which is evident in their reduction of needless costs, their desire to increase margins, their focus on building recurring revenue and swift and effective restructuring. This is very different to how the company operated under the old regime where money was wasted on costly acquisitions and never ending restructuring.

I had a punt on these back in early 2013 and sold them at 24.83p after they had fallen back from 30p making a small profit of almost £72. Just looked at the SP today and am totally shocked at how far they have fallen. The SP over the last 5 years has seen a steady decline and is down by over 92%. If something does not change soon the better parts (if there are any) will get bought up and the company will fold.

Yes the rise over the last couple of days is a bit of a mystery.

As the SP approaches the 2p mark, it is worth reflecting that one year ago today the SP was just 0.52p. We can indeed be very grateful to MB and the new BoD for the wise decisions they have made with regard to the disposals, acquisitions and restructuring. Their management over the last year can only instil confidence in what they will achieve in the future. We can be optimistic that they will achieve the full share options target.

The performance of AIM Shares very much revolves around Sentiment and Confidence. For REDS, this appears to have returned over the last few weeks and is growing stronger in the run up to the trading update, which hopefully will boost sentiment and confidence even further. MB has streamlined REDS and the it now operates far more professionally than it did previously, which all helps to rebuild sentiment and confidence. For investors, the big question is whether to remain on the sidelines until the Trading update on 5th Sept. I very much like how the share options that the directors can exercise are linked the SP as this gives us all a clear view of MB's expectations for the company.

The RNS states: "Vested options will be exercisable from 31 December 2018 until 10 December 2025". Therefore they cannot be exercised before the end of 2018.

Ignore that last figure, got the decimal point in the wrong place. It would cost him £598,000 to exercise his 65m share options.

MB's share options total 65,000,000 IF the SP reached and remained at 5p for a 90 day period prior to 31/12/2018 he could exercise his all his share options @ 0.92p per share costing him £59,800

Nothing goes up in a straight line so the occasional fall is to be expected but the overall trend does now appear to be an upward one. Those still waiting on the sidelines may well feel that now is the time have a punt. EOY - 2.5p?

What is nothing to do with the trend??? I am merely pointing out the positive first positive trend that we have seen this year. Obviously if it continues then the SP will rise further. The positive trend is as a result of positive RNS's and if such positive RNS's continue then, so will the upward trend, unless major shareholders start offloading.

The last 6 weeks has seen steady progress in the SP and a rise of almost 50% without any significant falls. Far better than anything else seen this year. Should this trend continue that we may still reach 2.5p by the end of 2016. The only thing that may prevent this is profit taking by the major shareholders.
