I think it was always going to shift when we broke 10 euros as it has held us back for so long, there will be a lot of traders watching the charts for a break of 10 and then piling in. I’m hopeful if we can close above 10.30 euros this will head back towards our high of the year as we move towards trading update
Looking at Shaun’s file, I believe Biograd use primerdesign.
BioGrad Diagnostics has opened new state-of-the-art testing clinics in Shrewsbury and Manchester to meet the demands of its clients, after seeing a successful year of growth at its flagship Liverpool-based laboratory.

Professor John Deeks being interviewed On bbc news just now, reiterating that LFTs don’t work well enough and not evaluated with children. He says “it is the wrong test to use for Mass testing schools” he also says “pcr is the best test we’ve got”
Taxon, my wife is still recovering from long Covid after 7 months, she was fit and healthy 40 year old who used to run weekly, had mild Covid symptoms in March but then went down hill in the weeks and months that followed. She had a 5 week period where she did not get out of bed but has slowly been getting better, she is now able to go for a 10 minute walk but then is exhausted for the rest of the day. I can see a huge problem with long Covid in the future around the world but it is only now starting to hit the news and NHS don’t know what to do about it. My wife has had brain, heart, lung scans but nothing conclusive
ShaunP, please don’t take this as a negative post I Just think it’s good for us to increase any research we can, even on competitors. I had asked a friend who works in the lab of our local Nhs hospital to find out the tests they are using (welsh Hywel dda healthboard).
They are using the following;
GeneXpert. (https://www.cepheid.com/coronavirus)
Biomerieux
Genmark
(https://www.genmarkdx.com/resources/newsroom/)
Could not tell me if using Primerdesign or info on q16/32.
Also said they had been using roache antibody testing but they no longer do antibody testing at that hospital. It must be noted that this is a small rural welsh hospital so it’s likely different in other areas
Ad4you, looking at the intraday chart for today below, the price moves up within 10 minutes of those 3 largest trades at 08:56, 11:54 & 14:15 so I’d expect them to be buys as even though they weren’t reported at the time, the share price increased soon after

Collinson faq page has the following details about the PCR tests they use
“
Modified on: Mon, 14 Dec, 2020 at 12:00 PM
PCR Testing is the most sensitive test that is currently available, able to detect active infection some days before the patient is infectious or symptomatic. It is the gold standard test; used in the NHS daily. PCR testing has a turnaround time of up to 48 hours. It is performed in machines than cycle through different temperatures. As the process of changing temperature takes some time, the process is longer than other processes such as LAMP.”
