That thought crossed my mind but who knows what the incentive would be to allow a drift? Maybe they have an informal under the table type offer which interests them but for it to have legs they think the share price needs to be around 10p levels. It could be a 18-21p offer.

What are you talking about? The capital reduction just gives the company more options.
Don’t say we’re now going to have you on here moaning and groaning every 5 mins aiming to get private investors to sell cheap. Yawn.
Thanks Stas.
It must be good for i3!
Sorry. My question wasn't just directed to Tony. Anyone else please feel free to comment.
Hi Tony
Can I please get your thoughts on how the Trans Mountain Canadian pipeline will affect us. I’ve read it should be completed in first quarter of next year and cuts across our Central Alberta asset to the west of Edmonton. Many commentators think this will narrow the gap between US and Canadian oil company valuations. My take is that our asset will become even more desirable if we can tap into the pipeline which I assume we’ll be able to do?

You must be Irish. You talk in riddles very much like many of my relations. I can spot it a mile away.
yep these things happen but majid if you read this please make sure such **** ups don't happen again. don't trust agencies or tits and teeth boys and girls. rather proof final drafts yourself.
Just a last thought on today's RNS. I bet it was issued in haste and an inclusion that shouldn't have been there got missed. Could be that things are moving quickly in on both sides of the pond and the RNS was rushed.
he's like a bloke in the pub boring his mates about a failed relationship. we don't give a ****e!
Labour aren't stupid. They'll adapt policies to secure jobs and energy security self sufficiency. They are just trying to attract the green vote with these sound bites.
Labour have promised to honour existing NS licence's and projects when they come to power but will approve no more new ones. This will give existing players a closed shop monopoly.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with that post.
To concentrate on the positives I also believe they have a few interested suitors for the Canadian assets hopefully this will create great value for all parties including us share holders.
Keep the faith in the bigger picture guys.
Somewhat of an over-reaction. I don’t have a problem with the options.
As I mentioned before, I phoned the High court yesterday to verify what someone else had said regarding approval and was told "a number of people have phoned about this and yes the application for capital reduction was approved." .." ( not a direct quote but words to that effect)
Strange no RNS but I also spoke to High Court yesterday who confirmed application was successful with no conditions.
I wonder if they’ll hive off the Clearwater asset and sell it. It would be good to hear what the access were and if they’ve been completely overcome. Having said that, we’ve got so much land and great prospects elsewhere it shouldn’t make a difference to financials.
No mention of capital reduction court application yesterday. Someone on Advfn said it was withdrawn and this may affect future dividends.
Yes. I have the case listing number but that doesn't mean it went ahead or if it did wasn't withdrawn before decision. Someone said it disappeared from the court list around lunchtime.
Stas
Did he confirm there was a hearing today? There’s talk on Advfn that the application may have been withdrawn.
Correct. There’s a procedure to be followed so RNS will likely be on Thursday.
